Interest in the monetary behavior of individuals in modern research is increasing due to the fact that the psychological and physical state of people, their material and financial well-being is influenced by changes in socio-political and material-economic living conditions, which, in turn, leads to a rethinking of life values and attitudes and a change in economic thinking and monetary behavior of a person. Researchers A.L. Zhuravlev [2, p.18] and K.V. Karpinsky [4, p. 153], indicate that a person’s monetary behavior may depend on a number of his individual psychological characteristics, including self-attitude, emotional and cognitive aspects, motivation, goal setting, and self-regulation processes. Mature monetary behavior is defined as a balance between rational consumer and rational saving behavior. However, according to some studies (A.A. Kapustin [3, p.2], O.S. Deineka [1, p.39], M.Yu Semenov [7, p.34]), today destructive monetary behavior is increasingly visible, which is more characteristic of women than men. Based on the results of online courses “Romance with Money”, we can say that women build special emotional relationships with money and women’s monetary behavior depends on a number of personal characteristics and experienced psychological states. Purpose of the study: to study the characteristics of women’s monetary behavior in connection with different levels self-relationships. Research base. The study involved 64 women aged 30 to 40 years.
