Those who consider themselves to be weather-dependent people know well that when the weather is unstable, you need to be especially attentive to your health, take care of yourself, and take timely measures to prevent possible complications.. This, in in general, “truths” that doctors have been talking about for a long time... And what about psychological health? After all, many people, without experiencing significant physical problems, suffer at such times from mood swings, poorly explained, at first glance.. But only for the first time. In fact, when the weather outside is good in the morning, sunny, by lunchtime it’s raining, and in the evening it’s cold, you involuntarily begin to think - how to adapt to this? Some psychological tests even ask the subject to draw a person in the rain, in order, in general, to determine how skillfully he “resists adversity.” But many people take the same “test” every day, when faced with either unforeseen vagaries of the weather, which can ruin your mood..So how to cope with bad weather?1. You can indeed try to foresee the vagaries of the weather in advance (a simple weather forecast, a raincoat in your bag, or, if possible, a certain amount of money will help here. People who have the opportunity to take a taxi or buy an umbrella at the right time are less susceptible to stress from the vagaries of the weather)2. If you do get wet or cold, take action immediately. Go to the nearest cafe - drink hot tea, take the necessary preventive measures, without waiting until you start blaming yourself for not foreseeing what happened.3. Take care of positive experiences - for example, if the weather has given you trouble, allow yourself to watch your favorite movie (you can, together with your household, this is an additional “resource”), or please yourself with something else. Here, the main thing is that the actions are constructive, convey to you and your loved ones the feeling that you yourself create the mood.4. Well, another option is to draw that same person in the rain and think about how, with what help he can cope with bad weather. In this case, the drawing is a help, a reminder to yourself that any bad weather can be overcome. Pay attention to the weather - and, perhaps, thanks to minor inconveniences, you will become more stress-resistant/stress-resistant, and you can use the acquired skills in other areas (at work, in communication, etc..)
