Apathy is a state of indifference, indifference, lack of energy and emotions that can occur in people at different periods of their lives. Apathy can be mild or severe. Mild may manifest itself in the difficulty of choosing something or in some everyday issues. But severe is when a person is in such a state that he has to force himself to do everything that he usually does in everyday life: cook his own food, clean his apartment, etc. If you ignore all this, you may miss the moment when severe apathy can turn into depression. In this case, the person will no longer be able to find the strength and motivation to even get out of bed and do something vital, for example, walk to the kitchen to drink water, eat something or go to the toilet, which will subsequently lead to to exhaustion and other negative consequences. Reasons for the appearance of apathy: ⚠️ Severe overvoltage and worries that lasted a long time. ⚠️ Too critical of yourself, when you set impossible goals for yourself, place too high demands on yourself, after which you begin to feel useless. ⚠️ Infantility, because it provokes you to avoid responsibility for your life, shifting it to others.⚠️ Unwillingness to do something on your own due to fear of punishment for any actions (this is also called learned helplessness).⚠️ Inability to set conscious and understandable goals for yourself , which causes a lack of understanding of what to do next. Symptoms that may signal apathy:⚠️ You don’t want to do anything.⚠️ You stopped liking everything you used to like.⚠️ You suddenly lost the desire to interact with other people.⚠️ You have become your problems are indifferent. ⚠️ It's difficult for you to concentrate on something. ⚠️You have lost your appetite. ⚠️ You started having problems sleeping. ⚠️ You have stopped showing any emotions, both positive and negative. If any of this has arisen for you, then do not ignore it, but draw conclusions and start acting. ✅ Change your lifestyle and add positive habits. ✅ Add regular exercise to your daily life, because physical activity has been shown to be effective in combating not only apathy, but also stress and emotional overload.✅ Adjust your diet, create a meal schedule and diversify your diet. ✅ Do something you love that helps you take your mind off your routine and improves your mood.✅ Communicate with your loved ones and friends, tell them about your worries, discussing them with them, rather than keeping it to yourself. ✅ Enrich yourself with knowledge and learn new skills. All of the above will improve your mood, increase energy, return interest in life and thereby help in the fight against apathy. If this is not enough, it is recommended to consult a psychologist or doctor for consultation and examination. In conclusion, I would like to say that apathy requires attention and treatment.
