In short, the funnel of exhaustion is an effect that occurs when a person begins to give up seemingly insignificant and non-urgent activities such as hobbies, entertainment, communication with friends, and maybe even sleep and regular nutrition. Yes, on the one hand, at the first stage he copes with the increased workload at work or at home, but in the end, productivity decreases without recovery, unfulfilled tasks accumulate, and he no longer has the strength. It begins to seem that a person simply does not live his life, the feeling of joy from life disappears. And then the effect of burnout occurs, a person finds himself in a funnel of exhaustion, falling into a depressed state, experiencing a lack of resources and a feeling of guilt, and perhaps even plunges into a depressive state. Whether a person will be able to get out of the funnel of exhaustion on his own, without the help of specialists, depends on the depth of immersion and the degree emotional burnout. How to avoid falling into a funnel and start getting out of it? For you, my author’s 5D model: Take a pause and focus. Move and breathe: take care of your body. Be friends with the principle “I’m ok and the world is ok” Trust your internal dialogue: track your emotional background and the quality of your internal dialogue Give a smile 1. Take a pause and focus When any thought arises, the beginning of an action, contact with the flow of things, take a break and ask yourself a question. What is my energy level now? How does what I do advance my quality of life? Try to keep your focus on what makes your life more joyful, comfortable and fulfilling. After all, you live every moment; it is impossible to pause your life while waiting for the beginning or end of something.2. Move and breathe: take care of your body Yes, yes. The body's resource makes a fairly large contribution to your productive state. Let's start with hygiene procedures: shower, if possible, in contrast. Movement that makes you happy: dance, swim, do push-ups, ride a bike, walk in nature, in general, choose physical activity to your taste and it will increase the level of dopamine in your body - the hormone of happiness. Breathe - breathing practices normalize metabolism, increase immunity and bring you closer to a state of harmony. Or maybe a bath, massage or spa? Choose what you like and create your own individual body care program, not forgetting about sex, healthy sleep, regular nutrition, taking vitamins and the bonus of oxytocin.3. Be friends with the principle “I am okay and the world is okay” The principle of being okay says that everything is okay with me, and everything is okay with the other person, too, even if he holds a diametrically opposite position. I am valuable and worthy of respect, and you are valuable and worthy of respect. My thoughts, feelings, actions are okay, and the other person's thoughts, feelings, and actions are okay too.
