From the author: Examples of options for reflected virtual personalities of some famous psychologists and their possible clients in the form of diagrams and text descriptions can be viewed at the following link: Virtual space of personality. The rapid development of Internet technologies in the modern world has qualitatively changed psychological reality of the individual. There are virtual universities, libraries, archives, cinemas, concert halls, government agencies, offices, shops, money, sex, friends, colleagues, consultants, professional communities, etc. Until recently, virtual personalities could only exist in the form of literary characters, paintings, sculptures, architectural structures, printed scientific works, photographs, “audio” and “movie characters” in the broad sense of the meaning of these concepts. Currently, almost every person with access to the Internet can create an infinite number of virtual personalities and virtual worlds that are also psychologically real for modern man, like “reality” itself, as we have historically become accustomed to perceiving and interpreting it. The main differences between a virtual personality and a real one.1. A virtual personality does not have a material body and consists solely of signs and actions (and also, like a real personality, of the images, thoughts and feelings that it generates in the psyche of observers). “Virtual” here is opposed to “material.”2. A virtual personality arises both by the will of the prototype itself (the material carrier of the individual-typological properties of the personality), and by the will of other people who create their own interpretation of this personality.3. After its creation, a virtual personality “lives” autonomously and independently of its author, being born or coming to life again in the minds of other people or continuing to exist in their memory, views, worldview, and actions.4. A virtual personality can arbitrarily terminate the very fact of its existence both at the request of its creator (for example, deleting its account) and for reasons independent of it (physical destruction of a material medium representing this personality, loss of access to it, de-actualization of a virtual personality leading to the fact that the content associated with it is forgotten).5. Anonymity, at least the possibility of such, which should be understood not as the absence of a name, but as the concealment of a real name or, as an arbitrary connection between “real” and “online” personalities.6. Expanded identification capabilities, freedom to endow a virtual personality with any set of characteristics, including changing gender, age, education, profession or place of residence.7. Multiplicity, as the ability to have a number of different virtual personalities simultaneously or sequentially, and vice versa, when several physically real people act as one holistic image of one virtual personality .8. Automation, the ability to fully or partially simulate the activity of a virtual personality using computer programs.9. The interaction of virtual personalities, or the ability for “social” life (a search robot analyzing various sites determines their socio-psychological status, for example, leadership, authority or rejection).10. Its own international language of communication with a constantly changing and expanding vocabulary, which has both a verbal form and a graphic (“avatar”) or predominantly graphic (“emoticons”). Typology of images of virtual psychologists on the Internet. All the above-mentioned features are directly related to virtual psychologists working on the Internet, since knowledge of the laws of psychology does not exempt one from their influence. The type of image formed largely depends on the dominant motives of the virtual behavior of a real psychologist. These could be: 1. “Student”. It doesn’t matter - student, graduate student, teacher, practicing psychologist - the main motive: searching for the necessary information:.
