From the author: First of all, discipline, tolerance and masculinity are associated with a father. The psychology of the family is unique and no one will dispute the fact that, unfortunately, not every man becomes an exemplary father for his children. Many view paternity as a limiting biological function of a man associated with the birth of a child. In fact, true fatherhood involves not only the manifestation of an external fact, but the manifestation of internal maturity on the physical, mental, spiritual and social levels. The father, first of all, is associated with discipline, tolerance and masculinity. And this all manifests itself through physical training and the development of willpower. At the mental level, the father contributes to the formation of character, in the manifestation of such qualities as rationality, determination, determination, demandingness, and independence. And with a fair approach to the upbringing process, children develop confidence and a subconscious conviction in the value of their existence. The child understands that the father, as a significant person for him, evaluates his abilities and this stimulates the development of new, more complex ones. If the spiritual level is considered from the perspective of family traditions, then one cannot underestimate the formation by the father of a sense of family unity - the feeling of “we” and a sincere attitude towards the mother. The social level determines the conscious benefit to society. Therefore, a man must teach, by example, to preserve the cultural traditions of his family, the ability to make the right choice of a future profession and to occupy a worthy social status in society. It is also necessary to remember that when communicating with dad, children often and unconsciously imitate ways of expressing themselves: facial expressions, gestures, speech. Sometimes, a cry from a man is not always a manifestation of the correct masculine position, but only an expression of an acute need for external significance, which hides one’s own uncertainty or unwillingness to understand the problem that has arisen. Consequently, fatherhood is a huge work of the father to achieve the highest level of development of the personality as a whole. In the process of conducting psychological consultations, some men admit that the manifestation of fatherly feelings is very difficult for them, since they do not experience a deep internal connection of the relationship with the child. Indeed, the father by nature does not have such symbiosis (internal fusion) as the mother, especially in the first stages of life. Fatherhood, as an instinct, does not manifest itself in any way. And therefore, dad is given the opportunity to form this natural connection through education and the active role of a man. Because of this ignorance, conflicts occur in families, which are most often called jealousy of the child or a showdown over who loves whom more or who gives more to whom. As a result, a generational confrontation is created, in which the father’s authority will definitely be low. Namely, the authority of a man, as the head of the family, determines the nature and content of important life values: respect, dignity, honor, conscience, responsibility, honesty and nobility of soul. They are an integral part of raising boys and girls, and without them a full-fledged, strong, happy family cannot be formed..
