Every adult, one way or another, has been waiting for this wizard at some point in his life. Well, or at least some kind of magic button that will solve a lot in one moment. For the first time I went to a psychologist with the words: “I’m in trouble, what should I do?” Even a little later, when I went to study as a psychologist, I kept waiting for them to teach me something magical so that I could help people. And at that moment, when a person waits and hopes that there is a wizard, he shows himself his childish primitive mental constructs. Because believing in this is quite infantile. What is infantilism? These are places in our thinking in which we remained in childhood. For example, a child believes in Santa Claus. Believes and knows that he exists. And this carries over into adulthood. And here, where we think like children, we think very primitively. And I don’t want to take away from you this belief in a miracle, in something magical and beautiful. An adult should still believe in miracles. Believing is our sacred duty. We won’t be able to survive here any other way🙈But an adult also knows and he is convinced of this that he can create these miracles on his own. And there is no doubt that every adult can give himself a good life. But a child is not just believes, but he also gets very upset if it doesn’t come true. If Santa Claus brings you something wrong or comes at the wrong time. He falls into despair and thinks that something is wrong with this world or with himself. Sound familiar? “It didn’t work out for me!” I'm not capable of anything! He does not love me! He doesn't support me! I'll go into the cave! I won't do anything anymore! I won’t succeed!” This is also a childish type of thinking. It was at that moment when you realized that the wizard would not arrive that you almost reached the point after which miracles happen. After all, the wizard arrived a long time ago. Go to the mirror and look. Here he is! An adult in this place thinks differently and draws different conclusions. I personally am absolutely convinced that there is a miracle. That wizards exist and that this is each of us! You stupidly take it and do it! How? What? Why? What mechanisms does it go through? How to think differently? This is me, come. Psychologist, Gestalt therapist Nadezhda Morozova. My telegram channel Psychology✨
