From the author: Disputes about astrology either subside or flare up with renewed vigor. Is this science or quackery? Does it have common sense that reflects our reality or is it a figment of the imagination of those who want to predict and control the destinies of people? I believe that after reading the article by Horse, an oncologist surgeon, astrologer, acupuncturist, author of a number of books on medical astrology and simply a wise person, everything will become clear. The basic principle of the universe I believe that disputes about what astrology is arise only because the majority people have forgotten or do not know about the basic principles of the universe: “ALL IS ONE and EVERYTHING IN EVERYTHING.” The main characteristic of our time is the acceleration of the flow and increase in the volume of information falling on a person. In order not to drown in it, not to get lost, a person is forced to crush and isolate from it only what he is able to assimilate, cutting off everything else. This mechanism allows you to protect the mind from overload, from the heap of unnecessary information entering it. But if we look at the source of this endless variety of knowledge that exists at the moment - it is ONE. Theory and practice In parallel with the development of humanity, there was an accumulation of information, both about the surrounding world and about humanity itself, which led to the emergence of theory and practice. Theory tried to explain how and why, and practice accumulated experience, confirming or denying this or that theory. In addition, there was a division into sciences about the world and about man. This is how physics, chemistry, geography, astronomy and so on appeared, studying the world and medicine, astrology, biology and others, helping to understand man and his connections with this world. I believe that there is no point in considering further division and fragmentation of science. It is enough to look at the list of these sciences that exist today, many of which do not mean anything to a non-specialist. So, for example: I’m sure not many people know who a Scientologist is and how he differs from a hepatologist. Another clear example is medicine. If you ask a doctor, “What is his job?” - I’m sure he will answer something like this - a cardiologist, gastroenterologist, hematologist, and so on. If he answers that he works as a doctor, such an answer is unlikely to satisfy you. You will require clarification, because most of us have forgotten the original meaning of the word doctor. It has lost its original meaning - a specialist who helps a person preserve the health and life given to him by reality (God, higher powers, or anyone, no matter who, what matters is that it helps preserve something). Science or profanity? Let's return to our question about astrology. Is this science or profanity? The ancients did not separate astronomy and astrology, since they were closer to the source of knowledge. They managed to keep in mind theory and practice, which helped to understand how the surrounding space affects us. If you look at books on the history of astronomy, you will see that many leading astronomers were famous astrologers and vice versa. They simultaneously performed two practically unrelated tasks, but, nevertheless, having one point of application: they studied various characteristics of celestial bodies (size, position relative to the Earth, speed of movement, light emanating from it, color, etc.) and how manifests itself. They were driven not by curiosity to learn more about Mars or Venus as such, but by the desire to understand how they (their characteristics) affect an individual and the Earth as a whole. Practical observations suggested that depending on the position of the planet, its distance from the Earth, speed, color, and so on, the weather changed, wars began or peace was concluded, epidemics broke out, a person felt either good or bad. It is not surprising that many astrologers were doctors, and many doctors believed that it was impossible to cure a person without knowledge of astrology. It was the stars that told the doctor what treatment to choose, when and what to prescribe to the patient, when to expect improvements or exacerbations of the disease. Of the most famous: 317284492
