A person finds himself in crisis situations at those moments in his life when he needs to change. In my opinion, a crisis is a kind of filter through which a person needs to go. And this is possible only by changing internally. After all, if we consider the crisis as a kind of lesson, then it is possible to get out of it only by acquiring new knowledge. Those who cannot recognize this fact, over time, also begin to move, but not up along the line of their development, but downward, and degrade in all spheres of life. The point of the crisis is for a person to discover the entrance to the zone of proximal development. Your development, with the goal of making your life better and higher quality. At the same time, it is very important when a person is in a crisis situation, but has already stopped what is called “falling down” (returning to the past in thoughts, using old patterns of behavior) to cope with fear. A person is usually frightened by the fact that now he will have to develop and learn new values, meanings and models of interaction with the world. At the same time, a clear understanding is necessary that, by and large, this is the meaning of going through a crisis state. And the fear that arises is an indispensable condition, since most reactions and beliefs also change. After all, the new and unknown always scares us, because we don’t know how or what to do, we don’t have a template for thoughts and actions. This is one of the reasons for fear. Moreover, such fear is often replaced by anxiety, and perhaps even panic attacks. But anxiety and panic are just blackmail feelings that have nothing to do with fear and its perception. When we grow out of the responses of the reptilian brain, which “advises” when fear arises to either run, or fight, or hide, then fear takes on a different meaning. In essence, fear is a signal that calls on a person to mobilize his attention. This is like a road sign, driving without stopping is prohibited “STOP”. The function of this sign is to attract maximum human attention. It's the same story with fear. If a person learns to use his own fear to his advantage, he begins to gain power. That is, a state when he understands that he can really change his life. At the same time, being fully aware and taking responsibility for the consequences that may arise. And this, in turn, has a very beneficial effect on a person’s emotional state, stabilizing it. At the same time, attention switches from thoughts about the past to the present, to the opportunities that this present provides. Live with joy! Anton Chernykh.
