Thanks to the situation in the world, the level of stress has increased significantly. Lack of security, traumatic events, a sense of uncertainty are superimposed on the stress that accompanies us in life. Work, family, personal ups and downs. Everything now has an acute effect on our psyche and seems to be trying to break us .How to calm yourself down? How to help yourself cope with stress? First you need to determine what causes you the most anxiety. The situation in the world? Family relationships? At work? Close your eyes and imagine it in front of you in a picture. Now that you see the picture in front of you, rate the level of stress and anxiety from 1 to 10. Now try to reduce this picture, as you would reduce a photo on your smartphone. Reduce it to the size when the anxiety level would decrease as much as possible. What is your stress level now from 1 to 10? If this exercise is still not enough to feel comfortable, let’s supplement it. Now remember a situation when you were as calm as possible and felt confident. Imagine this case in a picture. And rate your calmness on a scale from 1 to 10. Choose the picture, looking at which, you would feel good and calm at least 8 points .Now again imagine a picture of stress in front of you. On top of this picture, place a picture of confidence and calm. How do you feel? If your anxiety and stress levels are still high, reduce the image of stress in the background until you feel comfortable. You can also simultaneously increase the image of confidence, harmony and calm. This method is very effective and will help you cope in a situation of even the most severe stress. You can do the same with fear, sadness, anger and other negative interfering emotions. Regulating your state is an incredibly useful skill. Your state often determines the quality of your life.
