Bay-bye all people should sleep at night! Bye-bye tomorrow will be day again. During the day we are very tired. Let's say to everyone: “good night. Close your eyes. Bye bye!” InsomniaAbout a third of earthlings suffer from sleep disorders...The planet does not sleep. What is behind this symptom? How to fight? And most importantly, how to sleep deeply and peacefully? In order to sleep peacefully, fall asleep or surrender to the arms of Morpheus, it would be good to understand the reasons why you are not sleeping. Next, I offer a list of psychological (emotional and physiological reasons) that were most often encountered in my practice. Anxiety/ Increased control. Anxiety! Feeling #1 that prevents you from sleeping! If your anxiety is not conscious or the cause of anxiety is not clear, then you are guaranteed a sleepless night. If the feeling is not given a way out, it accumulates, creating clamps and blocks in the body. Light tremor, internal trembling, spasm in the abdomen, tension in the back - this is a small list of how anxiety prevents you from falling asleep. Blocks and clamps do not allow the body to relax. And without relaxation there is no sleep. Often, along with anxiety, there is constant control. Hyper-control is when a person is responsible for the whole world around the clock. And then the psychological tension reaches such power that the physical body simply cannot relax. It is difficult for a person to surrender to sleep, because for some reason he is afraid to let go of control over everything. And then the psychotherapeutic strategy for working with sleep is based on the awareness of that episode or those stories where there was danger and the habit of controlling life arose. In addition to awareness, you will have to learn to relax with the help of meditation, massage and breathing techniques. Returning the body the ability to relax, relieve anxiety and control, unblock clamps - these are the steps that will lead you to better quality rest. In fact, any unlived feeling can be the cause of sleep disturbances, as well as unreacted anger, as well as sadness. But anxiety and control come first here. Chronic fatigue. Fatigue also accumulates. The disease of the modern world is chronic fatigue and stress. Relaxation requires strength, but where can you get it if all your strength is running out? When the tone has reached such strength that there are no more resources for relaxation. Often this is maternal burnout, crises and periods beyond tasks. Here again we return to the ability to relax, let go and just breathe. Again meditation, massage, swimming and everything that will clean or at least reduce hypertonicity. Often such hidden tension is present in overweight people. Outwardly soft people hide excessive tone in the depths, which leads to sleep disturbances (as a result, people compensate for fatigue with food) and metabolic disorders, which again leads to increased weight. Active activities are not suitable for such people. sport. Only gentle relaxation in yoga or Pilates, swimming or just walking. And exercises to reduce cortisol. Here, the stress hormone very actively affects the tension itself in the body and the retention of this tension. And it also leads to sleep disturbances. And with a lack of sleep, cortisol rises again. And so a person finds himself in a vicious circle of insomnia. Hunger. Both physical and sexual hunger lead to the body remaining in the same tension. Both gastronomic and sexual hunger also manifest themselves in tension in the body. And it, as we already remember, interferes with relaxation and sleep. And until you eat something for acute hunger, you can only dream about sleep. Overeating can also cause poor sleep. But hunger is less often talked about as a problem. Well, or until you give the body the necessary relaxation. I have often seen that women without a regular sexual partner had sleep disturbances. And when they found a solution to their physiological needs, the relaxed body calmly fell into sleep. Several times I came across the fact that sleep disturbance was associated with vegetarianism and lack of protein. These may not have been the only reasons, but the lack of microelements led to lack of sleep to the point of.
