It was the summer of 2019. A training participant comes up to me and asks... Or rather, one charming and successful business training leader comes up to me and says: “Irina, give advice on the image for a trainer. Is a suit and tie necessary? Or is it acceptable to conduct business training in something informal, say, jeans?” I remember that we further discussed that he was uncomfortable in the standard “packaging”, and were there alternatives? Yes! I'll come a little far away. What is most important in the image of any presenter? I say: charisma! What is charisma? A lot of. I clarify: your most striking individual feature. How to find it? I’ll give you a hint: an archetype that doesn’t leave you. A well-known fact: different circumstances highlight certain facets of a personality and “awaken” certain archetypes. Let's consider my case. I am a stylist-image maker, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, writer, dog owner, Ira in my own right. I have a lot of spheres of rotation, and in each I somehow manifest myself. From the recent (according to my system of archetypes): · Presentation of a book – “Queen” and “Lady”; · Communication with a kindergarten teacher – “Business Mother”; · Skype session with a freelancer – “Freedom-loving”; · Family trip to the museum – “Wife” and “Girl”. “Girl” is my strongest archetype, the archetypal “red line”. It was given to me from birth, as a body type or appearance type. Therefore, when I “take it with me,” I sparkle, “ring,” and inspire. And those around you notice: “Ira, here you are - all, unique!” I always designate my “Girl” with a detail of her outfit. The more “Girls” you want to show, the more significant the details, the more there are. So, for home I have a cute dress, short, with a print of cakes: all my breasts are covered in cakes :). And at the presentation of the book, I wore a small choker with a pink flower, the same shade as a fuchsia business jacket. In this regard, the main recommendation: find your “red line” archetype, value it, protect it and, if possible, add it to the image. Let’s return to men and male archetypes. How can a business coach, for example, with the dominant qualities of a “Seeker” (Jung’s system) assemble his image for conducting training? Let's reason: The presenter of business trainings must convey certain qualities to his listeners: success, composure, efficiency, etc. It is expected as part of predictable and secure stability in unfamiliar environments. At the same time, as I wrote above, charisma is desirable. And here, so to speak, “in the flow”, the “red line” archetype comes to the fore. Let's take a closer look. “Seeker” is a traveler and discoverer, an independent, freedom-valuing, risky guy. A striking example is Indiana Jones. How this hero dresses: a leather pilot's jacket, a safari-style shirt, army-style pants, a canvas bag similar to a bag for a gas mask, a leather belt, again of a military type, and, most importantly, an "Australia" style hat - with a wide brim, slightly curved on the sides, a high crown, pointed in front, with a drop-shaped “lid”. This hat is also called Akubra. For the Indiana Jones movie, it was slightly modified by Deborah Nadulman, costume designer. Example of the “Australian” (Akubra) The Akubra was also worn by Dundee, nicknamed “Crocodile”, the hero of the film of the same name, also, by the way, “The Seeker”. Of course, you can’t wear the “Australian” to a business training, but partially add elements of the “Seeker” image to the image is real. Representatives of the business style will be responsible for the seriousness - a jacket and watch, for the “Seeker” - trousers, a belt, a shirt and a messenger bag. Shoes can be used as “loose”, sporty ones, or boots in a classic style. An image in the style of Business-casual-rock - for a business coach with a dominant “Seeker” archetype. Having completed the training, you can take off your jacket, put on a pilot’s jacket and even, what’s more, an “Aussie” hat, and go on an adventure. Another option for you is a business coach with a “red line” “Esthete” (aka “Loving”). According to psychological characteristics,"
