I was thinking about the quality of life according to the anti-scenario and then it occurred to me that the fairy tale about Kolobok’s short and tragic journey is simply an ideal metaphor for the anti-scenario and an excellent demonstration of how insidious such an apparently advantageous choice is for fate. What is an anti-scenario? All very simply: “I will never be like my parents...I will be their complete opposite.” “I will never do what my parents did to me...I will do exactly the opposite.” “I will never I won’t choose a profession, a destiny, a spouse like my parents had, I will do just the opposite.” That is, an anti-scenario is a total opposition of the future scenario of one’s adult life to the scenario lived in childhood. What connection is there with Kolobok? Yes, very trivial: having avoided being eaten by his grandparents, Kolobok ends up being eaten, but by a cunning, manipulative fox... What's the catch here? How Kolobok, having left the window sill, remained the same Kolobok as he was originally (for what purposes was he created by a grandmother in a fairy tale), and an adult child who has acquired legal capacity, happily simply physically leaving a dysfunctional parental family, remains the same traumatized child who was mentally imprisoned by the abusive needs of his parents. Well, as they say, the hunter runs to the beast (from changing the places of the terms, the sum does not change, I think). And as the wise, although simple at first glance, tale about Kolobok shows us, there is a catcher, and not just one, but a school of literally hungry abusers attacking the spirit that is attractive to them. Everything is like in the life of a traumatized person - over and over again he falls into the same snares, purposefully moving away from them. The boring reproduction of a plot in a fairy tale is another metaphor for reliving a traumatic scenario in life - the same suffering is reproduced endlessly. Why do I urgently say about the fact that psychotraumas need to be seriously treated, period? Yes, because if psychotrauma screams (and sometimes shouts into a bullhorn, generally commanding a person’s actions), we are not talking about any, I repeat, about ANY healthy thoughts, choices, actions, behavior does not work a priori. All that a psychotraumatist can do outwardly is to fit a socially approved mask onto his inner utter hell in order to somehow exist socially appropriately, earn money, survive, find at least some kind of relationship (alas, before thinking about the quality of such a life sometimes it comes very late). This is not integration into society on equal terms - it is simply mimicry, which, naturally, will not bring the expected fruits of social interaction, which will be the key to new disappointments. Do you think the ship can move decorously and nobly in chosen harbor in a storm? Hardly. So is a psychotraumatist: I see a goal (supposedly healthy), BUT: I see neither the road, nor myself, nor obstacles, nor resources, nor the environment, frantically going somewhere and going somewhere, and when I find myself in the next hole, I’m very unpleasantly surprised... Time after time, the hare, the wolf and the bear tell Kolobok that they want to eat him. And despite these statements from everyone he meets and crosses on the chosen path, Kolobok stubbornly continues to roll along it, without turning anywhere, “luckily” in the other direction from the grandparents, but without changing the area! Do you catch the essence of the anti-scenario? If the father was an alcoholic, and the son decided to be a prejudiced teetotaler, putting this at the forefront of his life, alas and alas, both of them are firmly fixed on the topic of drunkenness. Only one is looking for something to drink, and the other is thinking about how to never drink and not get drunk to the state of a careless ancestor. He is the same alcoholic, but “dry”, potential. Often, by the way, such a non-alcoholic is also a shopaholic, a workaholic... in general, he’s still something of an aholic, because, alas, the scenarios of both addictions and codependencies are internally written for him, but, of course, they are repressed from consciousness. And the traumatized psyche simply does not have a golden mean, balance. There is only black, where it is impossible in no case and “white” - where absolutely necessary, 2024
