During the Soviet period, such a problem did not exist at all; they were given to the one that was closer to home. Now this question is very acute, because there is plenty to choose from and there is a right to this choice. How to understand the variety of options offered? To answer this question, you must first answer yourself “what do I want”? Because the child hardly understands anything about this. So, if prestige is important to a parent, then you need to choose a high-status school and, as a rule, on a paid basis. If knowledge is at the forefront, then rely on the ranking of schools based on the results of final exams, ENT, Unified State Examination. Such statistics are available from the Department of Education. It may happen that the school with the most status occupies a high place in the ranking. But it may be different. Further, there are schools with in-depth study of foreign languages. You should go there if you want to see your child as an international student in the future, or if you are planning his further education abroad. There are schools with low enrollment in the lower grades, so that each child gets enough time in the educational process. There are schools with modern equipment, can be the envy of any research institute. They were built taking into account all the requirements of reality: they have a swimming pool, a football field and much more. Everything is created to make learning comfortable. Well, of course, this pleasure is not cheap. In addition, schools may differ in their main focus - either humanitarian or technical. And so on... There are enough offers for every taste. But we should not forget that the child is entering a new stage of his life. Gaming activities are replaced by educational ones; the child becomes one of the members of the team (class), which will have its own rules and requirements that he will have to take into account. His daily routine will change, new responsibilities will appear, and he will begin to perceive himself differently. Those. big changes await him! And most importantly, a new significant figure will appear in his life - a teacher! The person who will be second after the mother. Because he will evaluate and support (or not). And because of this, whether a teacher can instill interest in learning or not depends on his entire future studies and, as a consequence, his future. And this is one of the most important tasks of a teacher! Then the child will not have a burden to do homework and be attentive in class, as it is interesting! Therefore, in first grade you need to go to the teacher, and not to school! Then, at the middle level, when the thirst for knowledge has already been formed, when the basic skills of educational activities have been mastered, you can focus on school.
