In this article I want to share my knowledge and my vision of this issue. Everything written here is my personal vision, I don’t pretend to be “correct.” Many site psychologists write articles, but not all articles bring clients to them. Yes, and it happens to me that I just want to write about some topic that interests me, while I realize that the article is unlikely to attract clients. But if the goal of your writing articles is to attract clients, then the points described below can help you help. Think about clients with what problems do you want to find? For example, you want to work with adult couples who come to us about cheating, conflicts, misunderstandings, lack of support, lack of sex. Nor do you want to work with mothers on child-rearing topics. Having determined which topics you want to see clients with, you will already roughly understand which topics to write articles on more often, and which ones less often or not at all. The title of the article plays a key role in whether the client will be able to find your text and whether he will be able to catch his eye. If the article is written to attract customers, then the title should be clear. Will the client understand the abstruse terms? Will these terms be typed into search engines? No. Most likely, such an article will attract specialists or students, but not clients. Therefore, it is better to come up with titles without complex terms. Compare the topics: “How a client overcame depression” and “10 ways to cope with depression and become happy.” From the point of view of search engines, there will be more requests for the second topic, and more readers will see it; the first will attract only those who follow your articles. When searching, we often write “how”, “why”, pay attention to titles a la “10 ways” (the title begins with a numeral), look at titles that intrigue, give hope for solving a problem or satisfying a need. Even if your article is about a specific client, but its content answers the question “How to cope with depression?”, you can use the title “How to cope with depression and become happy: an example of successful experience.” If you were able to come up with a topic, but don’t know, what kind of filling to write, there are only a bunch of scattered ideas in your thoughts, then write down what questions the text should answer. Make a list of what each paragraph or section will answer, what information it will carry, write briefly the ideas that you want to remember to add. After you make such content, start filling each paragraph with text. Sometimes it’s hard to start writing, but this approach helps, because in front of you is no longer a blank sheet, but an action plan. Creating good headlines and texts, choosing interesting topics - all this is not as easy as it seems. I hope that this article will help you at least a little on your creative path.
