I spent my whole life climbing up the stairs, and then suddenly realized that she was standing against the wrong wall. Symptoms of a midlife crisis are: internal emotional discomfort - most of the time you are in negative emotions, positive emotions can only be caused by some good events and, as a rule, for a short time, the absence of a new goal or a feeling that achieving your goals will not bring the desired joy; a feeling that you are doing the wrong thing; the work does not bring moral satisfaction; a feeling of inner emptiness, as if you are not realizing your purpose; as a rule, we are still offered to work with the wall and stairs: set the right one in front of us , a well-developed goal (and not some bullshit that we have dreamed about all our lives before) find the mission that this goal serves (so that the goal is filled with meaning that your life is not filled with) In short, if your life doesn’t light you up, set yourself a goal that will ignite you! But for how long...? What exactly is a midlife crisis? Is this a normal phenomenon or not? And is it necessary to fight it? What essentially is a midlife crisis? In a nutshell, a midlife crisis arises from a gap between how we want to appear on the outside and how we feel from the inside. The intensity of such a gap is increasing by the age of 35-37 - it is by this age that usually familiar people and objects cease to evoke emotions that can drown out internal discomfort. We meet new people, acquire new things and go in search of new sensations in new places. Each time we increase momentum, but the gap only intensifies - hence a complex of unpleasant conditions arises, which are often called a midlife crisis. What to do?~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eliminate the gap. Become aware of negative attitudes that cause obsessive thoughts and emotions of suffering. Process emotions and change attitudes. Transform your personality not from the outside (new things, new people, new body, new places, etc.), but from the inside. Is this possible? Of course yes.
