She says that she had a disturbing, vivid dream and woke up in the middle of the night with broken feelings (which had never happened to her before). All she had at hand was her phone, where she wrote down the following words: Dogs, Hedgehog, Gnaw, Blood, Cry, Quarrel. The next morning she couldn’t really remember anything. I wanted to understand the meaning of the dream and understand my feelings. So, bit by bit, keywords and with the help of many clarifying questions, we reconstructed the plot of the dream itself. It turned out something like this: “I had a fight with someone. I'm upset after a fight. I am in the courtyard of a private house and see such a scene. To my right is the Dog, to my left is the Hedgehog, or rather I am behind him, a few steps away. I feel like the Hedgehog wants to attack me, but the Dog doesn’t let me do it. When the Dog rushed at the Hedgehog, I was a little scared. I want to intervene (to stand up for the Hedgehog), but the Dog looks at me with such a human, conscious and authoritarian look, and I understand that I shouldn’t interfere. The Gray Dog, which looks like a shepherd, barks and rushes at the evil and insidious Hedgehog, trying to protect me from him. The hedgehog is defending himself, he wants to harm me. The dog killed the Hedgehog and protected me from him. Red and thick blood on the grass, the blood of a Hedgehog. For some reason I’m crying, I feel fear and defenselessness.” Marina’s associations with the main images of the Dream: A dog is a friend, a protector. A hedgehog is good, harmless, thrifty.
