Touching on the topic of ARCHETYPES, today I wanted to talk about the Priestess. In modern adult women, this archetype does not manifest itself in sufficient detail very often, which partly explains the relevance of such questions that concern representatives of the fair sex, such as “Why doesn’t he pay attention to me?”, “Why doesn’t he give gifts?”, “Why?” Can't he hear me? Other archetypes that have seized power over the Priestess or her lack of development is one of the reasons for the very appearance of such questions. Ladies who have managed to remain in good interaction with the Priestess archetype are not puzzled by this. Such a woman has a good connection with intuition and knows how to live in her own reality. She does not feel any kind of insufficiency and does not need the indispensable presence of a man, but they really like them. She is endowed with a special magnetism. Keywords of the Priestess archetype: sorceress, muse, riddle, fairy, witch. She looks great at any age. The Priestess is unpredictable, spontaneous, emotional, easy to communicate, but not frivolous, and even wise. She is creative, active, but not intrusive. When the Priestess comes to the company, it is as if she illuminates the space. Most men notice her immediately, and after personal contact she remains in their memory for a long time. She gives love (we are not talking about sex at all) naturally and beautifully, but does not become dependent, does not lose herself. The priestess seems special. Songs are written and poems are dedicated in her honor. For her sake they perform actions and, of course, give gifts. She is intuitive and sensual. Her connection with her own nature is such that it sometimes allows her to be a healer. Just being near her is already bliss. Her ability to inspire is so strong that the chosen one quickly climbs the career ladder. The priestess does not teach like a mother, but with her faith in a man, whether in herself, or in something higher, she encourages him to develop and become better. Her love is not always directed at a specific person and only she is in many ways a lifestyle through service. This service extends not only to a man or loved ones - almost to the whole world. She treats everything around her as if she were a lover. Love for a woman with a developed Priestess archetype is not based on sexuality. For her, love is the highest art, in a certain sense, meaning. If we still talk about intimacy, with her it is not simple movements, but something special. Such ladies are very rare. This is probably why they are worshiped and highly valued. The Priestess archetype is well depicted in the film "Muse". Although there is a certain “stuckness” in the archetype with all that it implies. Mary Poppins is also a good example. By the way, about muses... This is what is usually called the bright side of this archetype. It is about her that I wrote a lot above. And, before we move on to considering the characteristics of the dark side of the Priestess archetype, a little more about the Muse. She is like a fairy from a fairy tale - light, joyful and bright. It renews, brightens, brings new ideas. Next to her, life seems more wonderful, kinder, more interesting. She supports and helps, but not in a motherly way, going headlong into over-care, but more instilling faith and seemingly adding energy. If the other archetypes are on the sidelines, and the Muse is leading, a woman may find herself in a situation of exhaustion of her capabilities. If she does not take care of herself, does not create conditions, does not rest, sometimes she becomes so tired in her service that she loses strength, and it takes time to recover. In general, she is, as a rule, in good health, but she is not a “perpetual motion machine.” It is interesting that she sometimes does not need any healers to recover. Stay with yourself, establish contact with your own inner nature, fill yourself up - due to this, she puts herself in order. But if you are lucky enough to have a Muse in your environment, know that her visible self-sufficiency does not mean that she is opposed to your care and help, even if she can cope with a lot herself. The muse can go into the desire for.
