What if I say that faith and fear are almost the same thing? You will think that I mixed everything up or is completely off topic, right? If we look closely, we will see that both faith and fear are associated with faith in unknown. We believe, but we don't know for sure. Let's take the example of driving a car. I can be afraid and never get behind the wheel of a car, or I can learn to drive, sit down and trust that no one will crash into me. Believing that other people, like me, will drive carefully, adhering to traffic rules. You are afraid of this, and you believe that it will not happen to you. We believe that something will happen, or it will not happen, and we leave everything as it is, believing that it is true. This is how we find peace and tranquility. If we talk about fear, then we believe that an event will happen or not happen. We worry and think about it constantly. And we find only anxiety or avoidance. I do not urge you to “blindly believe” and not calculate the consequences. And this is not about religion, not at all. Belief in your strength, in the fact that you will cope with a difficult task tomorrow, for example. However, if you choose faith, then there will be less anxiety and worry in your world. Fear brings more suffering. You can say that you cannot control fear . This is a physiological, natural reaction. But here I must note that this is not so. Fear, yes, of course, is our natural fight or flight response. This is our safety. But let's be honest, most of our lives we don't have real threats to life, but we do have fear and anxiety. We get used to living in this constant feeling that something is going to happen, go wrong, get worse. We immerse ourselves in our experiences, play it safe, constantly think about the worst consequences and are cautious. What if it’s the other way around? Develop resilience and believe that everything will get better or in a certain way, as planned? What if we believe in good things? ?And instill this feeling of goodness in other people? Try to notice more of what makes you happy? Learn to admit your mistakes and correct them? Understand that we cannot foresee and prevent everything. And start living “here and now”? The choice is yours. You can live in fear, worrying about every step you are going to take, or get stuck in the past. Or you can live in faith that every next step leads to something better and greater, regardless of the outcome. Will you believe or will you live in fear??
