Working with teenagers and young people, I have to admit the fact of a very limited intellectual and vocabulary. No, of course, not everyone, of course...But still...It's sad. Before, when I was still very young, I was looking for like-minded people in musical taste. Then I listened mainly to Russian rock - “Kalinov Most”, “Aquarium”, “DDT”, “Auktsion”, “Crematorium”, etc. And it so happened that while reading, for example, an interview with Dmitry Revyakin (“Kalinov Most”), I noticed his passion for the poetry of the Russian futurist Velimir Khlebnikov... and naturally became interested in his work. And while listening to “Tango” by Leonid Fedorov (“AuktYon”), I accidentally discovered the poetry of Alexander Vvedensky, a little-known, alas, in our country, a representative of the Association of Real Art, a group of poets of the 1920s-30s. No, I’m not bragging, but I’m sharing my experience... ordinary life experience... Russian rock took shape, first of all, as a protest to the Soviet society that existed in those years, its stereotyping. The first records, penetrating into the Soviet Union, closed from the “hostile” capitalist world, spread with lightning speed among the youth of the 1960s. Rock is too complex a phenomenon to be characterized unambiguously. You can listen to dozens of completely different rock compositions, differing in rhythm, melody, timbre colors, and all this will be called “rock”. Remember BG, "Picnic" or "Zoo". The difference between the groups is huge, but drive, potential, and a special core are important. Rock music is not just music, it is the state of mind of an eternal pilgrim, an Artist who creates his own world for himself and those who are on the same wavelength with him, but who is in the absolute avant-garde, unlike those who perform pop music. Russian rock has always been and remains oriented towards the Word. How does rock music influence the formation of personality? Firstly, being a conductor of the Word, Russian rock music encourages the listener to think and touches the subtle strings of the soul. Secondly, it promotes the development of attention and imagination among adolescents and young people. (I’m talking about my own thing, about pedagogy. It is necessary to hold class hours or evenings dedicated to rock poetry among high school students, teach them to listen attentively to the text, the aesthetics of sound. I think my colleagues will agree that most of modern music is of very low quality and, to Unfortunately, it does not encourage reflection or comprehension of certain events, but rather lower, biological needs). Thirdly, the texts of most Soviet-Russian rock poets are multifaceted, polysemantic, and metaphorical. Considering the poor vocabulary of a significant part of our children, this is especially significant for the emerging personality. The texts allow you not only to enrich your vocabulary, but also to work on analysis and interpretation, the meaning of words and entire phrases. Russian rock, like rock music in general, is an extremely complex, multi-structural sociocultural phenomenon, consisting of various directions and styles. In addition, the personalities of prominent representatives of rock music, whose fates were tragic, deserve special attention: a real rock idol of the 1970s, frontman of the group "Russians", Georgy Ordanovsky, a native Russian poet, master of words Alexander Bashlachev, rock existentialist Mike (Mikhail ) Naumenko... The creativity of these representatives of the domestic underground is truly unique. Deep, meaningful poetry, a heightened sense of justice, pain and even sorrow for all humanity, the subtlety and vulnerability of the soul, the suppression of the individual by the dictatorship of Soviet ideology have woven an amazing, special musical and poetic space into which those who comprehend the Word can enter... The personalities and destinies of these rock poets for many representatives of the younger generation becomes a turning point in their lives. In a certain sense, the guys enter a state of catharsis, leading to the transformation of views and beliefs from destructive and aggressive (“Russia is for the Russians!”, “Beat the blacks!”, “Yes, that’s all for me.”.).
