Gestalt therapy has existed for 60 years by the end of the first decade of the 21st century, if we count from the publication of the famous works of Perls and Goodman, which are still interesting to read. During this time, it not only became the leading direction in humanistic psychotherapy, it expanded to work with groups and organizations, and won hundreds of thousands or even millions of fans among clients and professionals. This type of psychotherapy, like no other, in our opinion, has provided endless opportunities for the creativity of therapists and, accordingly, for the personal growth and recovery of clients. Why did this happen? And why does Gestalt as a psychotherapeutic method continue to develop and absorb, integrate, based on its basic principles, everything that is useful for increasing work efficiency? I think the reason is that Gestalt makes our lives more conscious, responsible and meaningful! What could be the opposite of this? The choice is sad: either accepting the absurdity, the meaninglessness of existence; or shifting your responsibility to someone else; or an automatic semi-conscious way of life, in which we do not even notice that the present is passing by. And Gestalt gives you a chance to free yourself from problems, say goodbye to character traits that interfere with life, calm psychosomatics, establish relationships, change habits, feel and sometimes find yourself again, see the world and others in a new way, and much, much more. After all, this is one of the direct paths to the manifestation of the truly beautiful essence of every person. And in this, the Gestalt approach is in agreement with the great philosophical, religious and scientific movements. But what is its uniqueness, “specialization,” so to speak? In our opinion, it is that Gestalt captures the deepest universal patterns of life and development. Moreover, he does this not through rational understanding, but through direct holistic awareness based on sincere experience of what is happening. It is not surprising that Gestalt therapy gives fullness of life, leads to clarity of boundaries, adulthood, integrity and self-realization. Therefore, let's not waste time - Gestalt still has a lot of work to do! And we invite you to actively participate in it! Fritz Perls once wrote that he was 20 years ahead of his time. It seems that now this time has already come - the choice is up to Gestalt!
