If you are planning to conduct sales training, it will not be superfluous to know a few tricks and techniques that will help you conduct sales training in the best possible way. So, you have to conduct sales training. Where to start?1. Group diagnostics. Find out who will come to your training, whether they will be employees of the same company or different ones, what product or service they sell, how many people will come, whether the participants have previously attended sales training.2. Once you have learned more information about the sales training participants, you need to write a sales training plan or program. The training program should include: a list of games and exercises for sales training, their sequence, time for each exercise and time for discussion, or timing.3. Preparation of materials and equipment for training. During sales training, you may need: instructions for exercises for training participants, cards (dummies) of goods being sold, paper, pens, tablets, paper clips, felt-tip pens, flipchart paper, the flipchart itself, a marker board, a projector, a video camera, a stopwatch, badges, kettle and everything you need for a coffee break. Check in advance whether there are enough supplies for all participants, whether the battery in the video camera is charged, and whether the projector image is clearly visible.4. Information materials for sales training. At the training you may need: a sales training workbook, handouts, sales presentation slides, demonstration videos. Everything needs to be prepared and printed in the required quantity. It would be a good idea to prepare your own business cards, feedback form, and promotional materials about other trainings. When preparing exercises for sales training, you can come up with exercises that resonate with the specifics of the participants’ sales. Cases, role-playing games, simulating situations from real sales of participants can help, or they can hinder. Ask participants to voice difficult situations that occur in their real practice, and on the next day of training, use role-playing games to find ways to resolve these situations. As a rule, the most difficulties arise at the stage of restoring contact and when dealing with objections. Spend more time on these stages. What other issues of sales training interest you?
