Does your environment affect your well-being? Yes and no at the same time. No, because the choice to have and act is always yours alone. And yes, it does, because the environment gives us a resource and sets the bar, or leaves us in stagnation, or even pulls us down. The environment is a system, an individual person in this system is its element. That is, just as the system influences all elements, so each element influences the entire system. The degree of influence of the environment on you is determined by the following factors: your internal stability. Imagine that you are a river and any change in the environment, be it frost, heat or rain, will affect you instantly. If you are a stone that was thrown into this river, then you are already a solid element and changes in the environment almost do not affect you, but over time the water wears away the stone. If you are stable and solid, then your environment is different, you are drawn to those who are higher and follow to the desired well-being. If stability is not enough, and the environment is not supportive, then you remain at your usual level. Confucius said: “If you are the smartest person in the room, then you are not in the room where you should be.” This phrase is directly related to the quality of your environment and income level. Conduct a small experiment: Take 7-9 people from your environment with whom you most often come into contact. Some people will be close to you, some you may not like very much, but the fact is that you interact with them the most. Calculate the average income level of each person on your list. What you don’t know, guess. Now take a calculator, add up their estimated income and divide by the number of people you included for the calculation. Now compare with your income. In most cases, this amount will be close to your income level. An exception to this rule usually occurs in two cases: 1. You have entered a new room: you are growing, you have changed your sphere or environment. Then for now your income will be less.2. You are already stable, you live by your own rules and your income is sufficient for you, but there is still a bar. Then in your room there will be people with different incomes: from low to above average and even super income. This does not mean that the environment should be chosen only by income level. Let the people around you have the same values and be supportive. A supportive environment gives us emotional well-being, and this is a resource. Let there be those who set the bar for you, whom you look up to. If there are no such people now, then you can set this bar for yourself. Then at some point there will be at least one super-successful person next to you. The task is simple and at the same time difficult: monitor the quality of your environment and conform to it yourself. Think about whether your environment is a resource for you? How does it support you? Are there those who set the bar for you? If not, do you install it yourself? Book a consultation with me at +79500042139 (WhatsApp / SMS) Come, I’ll be glad to help you!
