From the author: Don’t confuse dreams with plans... We’ve all heard about different ways to make dreams come true. Let's consider another one, psychophysiological. It will help you understand that vision boards and visualization alone do not work) Fantasies. Dreams. Goals. Plans. Needs. The role of needs in getting what we want. Fantasies are those of our images and thoughts that do not require implementation. Something you can fantasize about while lying on the couch. In other words, fantasies do not meet the possibilities of satisfying our needs, or are not a resource for satisfying them. They can become a dream. For example, a person can fantasize as much as he likes about how great it would probably be to be in a state of weightlessness. In space. A person fantasizes, even imagines this wonderful feeling of weightlessness, lightness in the body..... A person can fantasize about being a famous writer. His novels pay well. He has fans and fan clubs. He has his own cozy office in the attic of an old house in the center of Paris......Dreams. These are our images and thoughts that STILL do not require implementation. They are the germs of goals. Perhaps they will grow up, perhaps not. And it depends, again, on our needs. I would like it. It seems possible. I want something like this. They can become a way to satisfy needs. May become a target A person may dream of traveling to...Africa! Or about the same writer's office in Paris. Goals. These are those thoughts and proposed actions that already meet our needs and imply a resource to satisfy these needs. I want! It’s clear that this is exactly what I want! Fully consistent with our ideas about satisfied needs. Flows into plans. Plans. Those actions that will lead us to the possibility of satisfying our needs. What should we do today, what should we do in a month to implement our plans and achieve our goals? I have a need, I WANT! They lead to what I want. These are points 1, 2, 3.....which will lead to the realization of needs. This is what requires action. Our needs are behind it all. The problem is that true needs are not recognized. For the time being. When they are realized, I know what I WANT, and I know what I WANT. This is exactly what I want. The good old “A. Maslow’s Pyramid” can help with the complexity of understanding needs. Let's look at it again from the point of view of possibility.1. physiological needs. Food, drink, sleep, sex...2. safety and security needs. Home, work...3. needs of belonging and love. Beloved, loving people. Partner. Relatives, colleagues, groups (hobbies, interest clubs)4. self-esteem needs. Achievement, creativity, learning….5. needs of self-actualization, or needs of personal improvement. How needs work can be seen in the example of the lowest in the hierarchy. For example, something is changing in your body; there is not enough fluid for vital processes. This grows and the need to satisfy thirst grows. As long as it is not strong and unconscious, you can lie and fantasize about the sea and Mediterranean beaches. Then you start dreaming about beautiful and delicious cocktails. Then you realize that you want to DRINK! And you decide to drink, this is your goal. Shouldn't you have some tea? Or coffee? Or Pepsi? And so, your goal is to drink Pepsi, and your plan is to go to the store and buy yourself a Pepsi. It's night outside. The store is far away. But you still want to drink. This is your need, and it pushes you. One store is closed, you go to another. There's no Pepsi there. Perhaps you will look again, or perhaps buy another drink. Or perhaps you will run home and drink water from the tap. Higher order needs may require more complex ways for their implementation - you want to find a job. For what? To earn money and feel safe? Or do you want to work in a kind and smart team, because... Do you need love and recognition from others? - Do you want to find a partner - get married? To have regular safe sex? Or so that your partner)
