Of course, there is no spelling error found here. It is the “demon” that confuses, dulls, leads a person to degradation and the impossibility of a sober outlook on life. Live soberly... and you will be happy! Soberly is not only about abstaining from alcoholic drinks, which distort the objective events around you. This is also about the adequacy of the worldview. Let us remember Erasmus of Rotterdam and his immortal work, a satire that is relevant in any historical era, “In Praise of Stupidity”: “Truly, two great obstacles stand in the way of a correct understanding of things: shame, which fills the soul like fog, and fear, which, in the face of danger, prevents you from making bold decisions. But stupidity drives away both shame and fear with amazing ease.” Shame and fear here exist in a very strange tandem. Shame is an exclusively human quality, socially conditioned, experienced in various states, and having different colors in its polarity. Shame can be both destructive and creative. At the same time, shame is a litmus of social control, when a person feels part of this world, and to a certain extent realizes responsibility for his thoughts, actions and deeds. Fear is a biologically determined mental state associated with the instinct of self-preservation, as a reaction to danger , moreover, arising both in contact with danger and in the desire to prevent and avoid it. Shame and fear in stupidity have atrophied. Criticism is alien to them... But there is something ugly and repulsive in the resilience of stupidity. Stupidity paralyzes social qualities, distorts a person’s moral and ethical ideas in order to denigrate and vulgarize the entire world around him and himself. Nowadays there is an acute shortage of wisdom. After all, pay attention, would-be trainers or undereducated people excitedly talk about the wonders of their craft. “Be happy!”, “Become successful!”, “Become a great writer (artist, singer, etc.)” And at the same moment “be a psychologist”, “be a psychoanalyst” becomes fashionable. The hackneyed meme about the man on the couch is no longer funny, but absurd. The forecast of a society mentally infected with the virus of amateurism, as Alexander Isaevich Solzhenitsyn said, “educatedness,” will be disappointing, if not “hopeless.” As was already said by Erasmus: Wisdom does people are timid, and therefore at every step you see wise men living in poverty, in hunger, in dirt and in neglect, everywhere meeting only contempt and hatred. Money flows to fools, they hold the helm of government in their hands and generally prosper in every possible way. But freed from the fear of making themselves known, a fool (or fool) loses responsibility for his actions. Their actions are more impulsive, uneven, and their needs are rigidly fixed on biological and material ones (food, sex, thirst for power, thirst for money). The feeling of shame, if it persists, is not captured. But metaphorically it’s just a demon. Small, petty, cynical, greedy, knocking with its hooves on the crown of the fools and ignoramuses, invading the limits of their brain activity, devouring gray matter, grunting deliciously... The demon of brains is the demon of desperate stupidity. The demon of brains is the demon of arrogance and hypocrisy. The demon of brains is the demon of lust and debauchery, often hidden under the guise of religiosity... Is there a way out of this dead end, from this Kingdom of Recklessness? Wisdom comes with awareness and revaluation of one’s “I”, one’s actions, thoughts, ideas. Wisdom does not come with age; on the contrary, in some cases, with poor thinking and tyranny, it moves away from a person... But being wise is scary. After all, you will have to look at yourself from the outside, see the flaws in yourself, rethink your life scenario... What willpower Wisdom requires from a person, granting in return unlimited inner freedom, invulnerability and tranquility, opening new doors to the World.
