Relationships are the foundation of our lives. Through them we learn about ourselves, about others and about the world around us. Moreover, they can be so different: friendly, love, business, family relationships, as well as simply hostile and even hostile. You may be considered a loser and a loner, or you may be the life of the party. Likes and dislikes between people depend on the perception and understanding of each other. Understanding your neighbor in this case is the main condition, because normal relationships between people are possible if you know how to empathize and put yourself in the position of another person. So how can you make sure that your relationships with other people work out well? I would like to point out several important principles that will help you with this: Mirror! How we treat others is how, to a large extent, we treat ourselves. Our relationships are a reflection of our inner world. For example, if you approach a person recognizing that he is capable of the best, then all his best qualities will certainly appear. 2. Communication! Misunderstandings and conflicts often arise due to the inability to listen and express one's thoughts and emotions. Is it possible to understand someone if you don’t hear what he is saying? When you listen and try to understand the other, all barriers are removed and people really “see” each other. 3. Boundaries! Each of us has our own boundaries. Often we find that our boundaries are different from the boundaries of others, and this leads to tension and quarrels. Therefore, respect for oneself and others is the ability to establish and recognize these very boundaries. 4. Growth and development! Real relationships do not stand still, they are constantly evolving. Support each other in self-development and learning new things. It is important to find common interests that will delight and give new emotions. 5. Forgiveness! We all make mistakes. The ability to forgive and move on makes relationships stronger, frees you from emotional wounds and grievances. Remember that relationships are often difficult “work” that requires effort and mutual dedication. Share your thoughts on building strong relationships in the comments!
