“In music there is only harmony...”. Working with emotions. Art. therapy. Sometimes our emotions throw us off track. What to do in this case? How to harmonize your condition? I have already talked about using conscious breathing to work with emotions. This is a very good method! And today I’ll tell you about the use of music to harmonize your state. I give an algorithm for harmonizing your emotional state with the help of music: 1. We draw up a “portrait” of your emotional state: What range of emotions do you experience? What color are they? What size are they? Where are they located relative to you in space? What is their structure? What sensations in the body accompany this emotional state. You can write down your observations or draw a “portrait” of your emotional state. 2. Select music. Selection conditions: The musical work should be no more than 10-15 minutes in length. Possibly less. You must like the music! 3. Getting to know the music. It’s better to listen with headphones so that nothing distracts you from listening. Close your eyes and focus on the music. What images are born when listening to music? How do they interact with your emotions? What sensations in the body accompany this piece of music? Write down your impressions so as not to keep them in your head. 4. Second listening. We listen to music more consciously. We close our eyes and focus on the music. What images are born when listening to music? How do they interact with your emotions? What sensations in the body accompany this piece of music? Write down your impressions so you don't keep them in your head. 5. Third audition. We listen to music more consciously. We close our eyes and focus on the music. What images are born when listening to music? How do they interact with your emotions? What sensations in the body accompany this piece of music? Write down your impressions so you don't keep them in your head. We draw up a “portrait” of our emotional state: What range of emotions do you experience? What color are they? What size are they? Where are they located relative to you in space? What is their structure? What sensations in the body accompany this emotional state? Is your emotional state different from the one you experienced when you started working? If your answer is “Yes”! Congratulations, you have found the right music. If “no”. Look for music that will resonate in your soul with positive emotions. Good practice!
