Good day everyone, dear friends, today I continue the series of articles on the topic of personality disorder. Since the topic is quite controversial and quite complex in terms of description, since it is described within the framework of several classifications and clinical recommendations, so I am grateful you for your comments, constructive remarks, additions and feedback. Let me remind you that I describe personality disorders based not on ICD-10, but on DSM IV and my experience, and there is a certain difference between them. So, today antisocial personality disorder. According to the DSM, men suffer from it more often, about 3%, and women 1%. In Russian, these are the psychopaths we all know very well. In many ways, all of their characterological deviations are associated with some kind of antisocial behavior, various types of manipulation, open aggression, deceit , lies, exploitation of others, even various variants of physical attack or violence. Let's start, according to tradition, with their self-image. Most of these people consider themselves strong, lonely, misunderstood and independent, believing that society manipulates and abuses them in different contexts. Which, in fact, is a frequent reason for them to justify their violence against others. They often take on the role of predators in a cruel world. “That’s not who we are,” as one of Boomer’s heroes said. And indeed life is like that for them, they look at it like through a sniper scope, looking for the next victim who, in their opinion, was going to mercilessly exploit them or cause some harm. Therefore, they perceive others mainly as exploiters who deserve to be treated with they were treated cruelly. And the second point is that these are Victim people, who also deserve to be dealt with harshly, because they are weak and incapable of anything in their opinion. And the deep-seated beliefs look like this: “I must be constantly on the alert and be tough, otherwise someone will take advantage or deceive.” Thus, they devalue other people in advance, considering them unworthy, not entitled, “shameful suckers” (as one of them said clients). Therefore, their rigid concepts from the series “Either you or you”, “He who is not with us is under us”, etc., are expressed 100%. Their behavioral repertoire is usually divided into two classes, or they are open hooligans who are not afraid. confrontations that can openly deceive, attack, rob, beat, without fear of social punishment and conscience, or black cardinals, such as Professor Moriarty and clever scammers who develop strategies and schemes to somehow deceive other people for various purposes. It would be great. if someone gave an example of a psychopathic fraudster, for some reason it doesn’t occur to me now) Have you met such people ======================== ============================================================== I will be glad 👍 ))), if I see you among my subscribers and the opportunity to share useful and interesting things with you👍) And if you liked my article and helped in some way, share it on social networks, maybe it will help someone else too.
