My ardent love for Smeshariki is partly due to the fact that the older I get, the more meaning I find in the episodes of the animated series. Therefore, I decided to write a series of articles about various psychological phenomena using the example of the adventures of these wonderful characters. Today I will analyze the character of Sovunya. Sovunya seems to be a calm character who does not have a pronounced accentuation. However, if you take a closer look, you will notice the strong emotional “explosions” characteristic of her, a vivid expression of feelings and emotions, and a tendency to make decisions based on a momentary impulse. I came to the conclusion that Sovunya has a labile accentuation of character, just like Nyusha. Since I have already analyzed this accentuation in great detail, here I will compare the differences in its expression in these two female characters. Sovunya is an elderly character. In her life there were dramas, breakups, losses of loved ones. She learned to control herself and became wiser. Personal development does not stop after reaching the age of 25, but continues throughout life, and Sovunya is an example of personal growth based on a long, complex and difficult life path. Therefore, her character has much less sharpening than the character of Nyusha, who is just entering puberty. Sovunya’s character was also strongly influenced by her grandmother, who forced her granddaughter to play sports and did not allow her to waste time on fun. The atmosphere of strict discipline in which Sovunya was brought up taught her to control her feelings and their expression. Sovunya tries to hold back her loud laughter and is embarrassed by her tears. And yet Sovunya reacts very strongly to what is happening. In the episode “April 1,” Karych’s prank almost brought her to a nervous breakdown: “Well, you can’t take everything so personally!” You have to approach life with humor! - This is not humor. This is a mockery of my kindness and sensitivity. They don’t joke like that! Like Nyusha, Sovunya values flirting, compliments and courtship in relationships. She keeps in hiding both love letters and a dried bouquet given by her gentleman. Unlike Nyusha, she is not inclined to quickly forgive insults. - Once upon a time, I had a very close friend. Everything was great until he hurt me. I expected an apology, but none came. What was I supposed to do? Say “I don’t care, offend me as much as you like”? No, it hurts me! I left and never saw him again. It can be noted that Sovunya is prone to experiencing deep feelings rather than emotions. Leonhard called such people emotive. Unlike emotionally exalted personalities, to which Nyusha largely belongs, the emotional sphere of emotives is not influenced by mood, but is an adequate response to significant experiences. Therefore, emotional contagion is less common for them. Emotive individuals constantly balance on the brink of depression. Therefore, we tend to choose such companies and such life partners who will definitely not offend, who will give the necessary warmth and support, and will make you believe in your importance. Sovunya was lucky and found all this in her friends. But the pain from old grievances and losses will remain with her until the end. For a better understanding of Sovunya, I recommend familiarizing yourself with the series “April 1”, “Lost Apologies” and “What the Wind Will Bring”».
