ISOLATIONToday we will analyze another type of psychological violence.⬇️First, let’s remember what psychological violence is in general - this is the process of influencing one person on another through control, reproaches, criticism, and the like. Isolation is also included in this list. If a person:➡️controls your exits from home, telephone conversations and correspondence on social networks➡️against your communication with other people➡️tries to make sure that you do not see or interact in any way with your loved ones and acquaintances➡️specially says nasty things about people in your social circle in order to discourage you from communicating with them➡️tells others something negative about you so that they do not try to communicate with you➡️forbids you from leaving the house, going to a meeting with someone, or texting , talking on the phone It can be argued that we are talking about isolation. At first this does not bother much, but then the victim begins to notice that he is becoming more and more isolated from society. The abuser begins to behave more aggressively every day. Why is isolation dangerous? ⬇️✔️decreased quality of life✔️feeling of loneliness ✔️apathy, which can later develop into depression ✔️negative thinking There is only one way out of this situation: do not give in. You need to learn to set personal boundaries and show that this cannot be done to you. ☑️If you remain silent and pretend that there is no problem, the abuser will feel power over you and will try to isolate you from society even more. Of course, this will not lead to anything good. Your life will very quickly become gray, boring and limited. But even if you give in to this, the abuser will never be satisfied. In the end, he can just lock him in the room and that's it. ☑️Isolation is a rather scary thing, although harmless at first glance. The most important thing is to notice it in time and try to talk to the person. If he doesn’t hear, it’s time to take action and refuse such communication. Definitely, it destroys the individual. Have you ever noticed that someone wants to forcibly isolate you from society? If yes, what ways did you combat this??
