Friends, I recorded a video especially for you today, and now I will also write in the publication a general algorithm for “fixing” (healing) scenario-based “slopes” (repetitive, unsolvable difficulties) with which clients often turn to therapy. There are plenty of options for psychological “repair” of distorted or broken algorithms. I will offer one of the possible ones - proven, effective, efficient. So...Step one. Search for the original source. In the operational failure of any mechanism (let's imagine, for example, a watch, any device, an automatic machine), first of all, it is necessary to find the breaking point - where exactly, in what place did this device break down? We (psychologists and clients) act by the same analogy ) in the event of psychological failures in the life algorithms of the client involved in the work, we look for the primary source - the place (or point) of the breakdown. Most often, this place is naturally located in childhood. It is there that our life scripts are mostly written - by the attitude of our parents, the circumstances of our childhood history, the world that accepts us. Step two. We determine the natural connections between the source and the problem. Let us again turn to the example of the device. Let's say we found a failure point. Now, for effective repair, it is necessary to study the algorithm for the relationship between the broken part and the operating mechanism as a whole. We comprehend, understand, theoretically restoring the schemes of the working algorithm. We follow the same analogy, exploring the influence of the primary source on the problem, analytically restoring the correct vector of action. Step three. We correct the errors of the original source. We return to the analogy with the working device. Having understood the mechanisms of the broken part and the operation of the device as a whole, we begin to repair the deformed part of the process, correcting the wrong state of affairs. We (psychologists and clients) act in a similar way - we have the power to virtually “replay” the influence of the source on the deformation of the algorithm, that is, “ rewrite" the received "trip of your childhood." What might this look like? About this in my video, made especially for you. Intrigued? Welcome to the material! I hope this short introduction to psychological work with scenario difficulties and a thematic video for publication will prompt my readers to useful reflections regarding “fixing” their own deformations. I sincerely wish you good luck!
