Excessive, absolute idealization of other people has legs that grow from childhood. It's all about how we interact with our parents at the earliest stage of our development. Often, parents structure their communication with their children and the process of raising them in such a way that they present themselves as an example of a seemingly ideal person. The kind of person who always copes with any job with 100% success. A parent teaches a child to sculpt from plasticine and fashions ideal (in the child’s opinion, of course) dogs and cats, while the child himself can hardly make a circle. The parent carries out any task quickly and easily, as if without looking, and as if without error, while the child always confuses something, forgets, can break and ruin it. With this approach, the parents become an ideal image for the child, against which he he himself is always insolvent. And yes, he will try his best to become the same, but this is simply impossible due to his age. The trouble and the biggest problem is that not only the child himself is unable to understand this, but, as a rule, even the parents. While the child tries with all his might to become just like them, the parents only strengthen his belief in his own imperfection. In general, the problem with all traumas is that we are not aware of them, we do not analyze them, while they automatically launch into us these or other mechanisms. The described trauma leads to the fact that a person a priori sees everyone around him as ideal, even managing to interpret the failures of those around him as evidence of their intelligence and success. The path to healing, as always, lies through recognizing the existence of a problem. Each person, instead of whom we again saw an ideal image, should be brought down from heaven to earth in our heads, finding signs that he is a living person like everyone else. Yes, a person with his own merits, but not without flaws. A person who you like and evokes certain enthusiastic feelings may think the same about you. You need to learn to perceive yourself and those around you as equal people, each of whom can take something from the other, as well as vice versa.
