The Golden Rule of MoralityThe elementary “Golden Rule of Morality”, which many people have forgotten about and act not from a position of respect, but from a position of fear, duty, responsibilities, etc., I will give one example below. Guy and the girl live in a house with two exits, one to the outside and the second to the inside of the house. Arriving home, a young man parks his car in different places, and no one knows where exactly today he will park his car. When a young man goes to a shoot, he gives his girlfriend a ride to the metro, since it’s on his way. One such day, the young man went to warm up the car, and the girl came out a little later, and as she was leaving she realized that I didn’t know where the car was and he didn’t tell her about it. The girl felt very upset and unpleasant, because the man knew where the car was, but did not consider it necessary to say, without thinking about it, “he knows and that means everyone should know.” After some time, she finally found the car and got into the car, upset. In the evening, a conversation took place about the current situation and respectful attitude towards each other. Several months passed and today the same situation repeated itself, only this time the young man called from the car and told where she was. The girl felt pleased and thought: “Wow!!! I finally started treating myself and others with respect!” But her joy did not last long. When she got into the car, she thanked her for the concern, for the call and the information so valuable to her. The answer was: “Well, if I don’t tell you, there will be resentments again, a sour face and proceedings, it’s better to say than to listen to everything later.” "And then the realization comes that a person acts not out of respect and care, but simply because he is afraid that he will be scolded, that they will not communicate with him, etc. A person who respects himself lives according to the principle of sincere respect for yourself and others: “do with yourself as you would like them to do with you” “do as you would like others to do to you” “do not do to others what you would not want others to do to you” » Dear readers, thank you for the time you spent on me and my article! I will be glad to see your comments. Sincerely, Natalya K.
