The main desire for parents when a child enters kindergarten is the desire for the child to quickly get used to new conditions. Every mother and every father wants this process to go through without any special difficulties. What is needed to make the process of adapting a child to kindergarten painless not only for the child, but also for you, the parents? Adaptation is the adaptation of the body to new or changed living conditions. Adaptation has two aspects – biological and psychological. It is important to remember that during the adaptation period, protective factors decrease (therefore, children can often get sick during this period). The average period of adaptation to kindergarten, normally for 3-year-olds, is 2-3 weeks. The adaptation period actually begins at that moment when you decided that your child will attend kindergarten. Try to find out all the questions that interest you and prepare your child for changes in his life. Pay attention to your child's daily routine. Over the summer, it should be rebuilt in such a way that the baby can easily wake up an hour and a half before the time when you plan to leave home for kindergarten. If your child no longer sleeps during the day, teach him to just lie in bed. Teach him some games. Encourage him to remember the poems and songs he has learned, to write fairy tales, and to count. Teach your child to look at surrounding objects and remember small details. Try to teach your child to go to the toilet at the same time every day (but not from 11 to 12.30 - time for a walk in the garden). As a little child, you need to teach him to go to the toilet not when he “really wants to,” but in advance: before going to kindergarten, before going for a walk, before going to bed. Is it difficult to feed your child? Have you ever had to deal with lack of appetite, selectivity in food, or slowness? Bring your child’s menu as close as possible to the kindergarten menu, eliminate the “piecemeal” between meals. Try to reduce the caloric content of the food he eats, which after a while may lead to an improvement in appetite. It is necessary to talk about problems with appetite with a teacher and a nurse and a garden psychologist. All children need to be tempered, and especially children who go to kindergarten. Walking barefoot indoors and on the ground in summer in any weather is the easiest and most effective way. This strengthens not only the immune system, but also the nervous system. Any water procedures (shower, bath, lake, sea) are very useful. Gradually accustom your child to cold drinks (kefir, milk, juice from the refrigerator). Ice cream is not only tasty, but also useful in terms of temperature contrast. Watch how the child plays with other children. Does he fit in with a group of children playing? If it is difficult for him to do this, help: teach him how to greet a group of children correctly, offer your toys to children, ask permission to play with them, react correctly to refusal, finding a compromise option. Teach your child to take it out into the yard, and then bring it to kindergarten only those toys that he is ready to share with friends. Otherwise, the baby will be known as greedy or will be constantly worried about his favorite toy, with which something might happen. Accustom your child to perform feasible household duties: 1. Collect and place toys in appropriate place.2. Put books and magazines on the shelf.3. Take napkins, plates and cutlery to the table.4. Clean up any crumbs left after eating. Clear your seat at the table.5. Simple hygiene procedures: brush your teeth, wash and dry your hands and face, comb your hair.6. Undress yourself - get dressed with some help.7 Wipe away traces of “childhood surprise.”8 Carry a package of food or a jar of canned food from the bag to the desired shelf. Come with your child to kindergarten for a walk, visit the toys and children, or for a holiday. Get your baby interested in everything that happens in kindergarten. First day in kindergarten.
