Matryoshka has long been considered a Russian folk wooden toy, painted in the form of a doll, which consists of other similar dolls of a smaller size. The history of the matryoshka suggests that it was depicted by a Russian master based on ancient folk tales, but there is also an assumption that the nesting doll has Japanese roots. What does a matryoshka develop? A matryoshka can be fully classified as one of the most ancient educational aids; even then our ancestors knew how useful this toy is. By playing with a matryoshka, a child expands his knowledge about the properties and characteristics of objects. The child gets acquainted with the concepts of size, height, thickness, and also acquires correspondence mathematical knowledge. A series built from nesting dolls is the identification of a mathematical series from largest to smallest and vice versa. During the game, the baby’s visual perception is formed, the interaction between hand and eye is honed, which contributes not only to the development of spatial and logical thinking, but also to the development of the eye. Where to start the game? 1. Show the baby the nesting doll, look at it carefully together, ask the child to show where the nesting doll’s eyes, nose, and mouth are. Let the baby take it in his hands, feel its size, say: “This is a nesting doll.”2. Show your child how the matryoshka opens and closes and let him try it on his own. Actions must be accompanied by speech, but this must be done in stages: first speech, then action, otherwise the baby will be distracted by the adult’s voice and look at you at that moment, and not at what you want to show. We introduce the child to the name of the actions “open the nesting doll”, “close the nesting doll”, thereby expanding the baby’s vocabulary, this is very important, because the child will learn not just the word, but also the action itself that it means, while establishing a connection between the word and action, between word and object. By opening and closing the nesting doll, the child not only improves his motor skills, but also develops his spatial concepts. 3. Place a large and a small nesting doll next to each other, give the baby a large matryoshka doll in his hands and say “The biggest one.” We do the same with the small nesting doll. He will feel this at the level of sensations, because he has to hold a large matryoshka doll with two hands, while a small figurine easily fits in his palm. It is important to introduce the child to concepts on different objects, so if in the pyramid the large ring was flat, then here the large nesting doll is already a more voluminous figure. The child learns to understand that different objects can be big. When the baby has mastered the concepts, say: “Show me, where is the biggest matryoshka?”, “Where is the smallest?” 4. Place the nesting dolls in front of the child, open the large nesting doll, and show how you can hide another nesting doll in it, then let the child try to do it on his own. Let the baby experiment by playing with nesting dolls, he will receive information about the size, he will be interested in making discoveries such as the fact that a small nesting doll can be easily hidden in a large one. And how funny it will be to find out that a large nesting doll does not fit into a small one, this “house” is too small for it. In nesting doll fairy tales, you can ask your child to hide one character in another, if you see that the baby has already remembered the heroes of the fairy tale, such games of hide and seek are very exciting. 5. The child will be interested to know what the secret of the nesting doll is, how several figures of different sizes magically end up in one. To do this, you need to learn how to line up. We arrange all the nesting dolls according to their height (at the same time, for children under 2.5 years old, it is not advisable for the matryoshka to consist of more than 3-4 figures; if there are more component parts, then leave three parts for building a row, and save the rest for other activities) So , we lined up the nesting dolls in a row according to height, remove the top part and put it behind, now we have two rows of “handkerchiefs” and “skirts”. We tell the baby: “Look, now it’s a matryoshka.
