It’s difficult to describe in words, but this is when you feel that he was, and not now! I hope when you feel this, you will understand what I mean. Has it ever occurred to you that you could write a novel based on the events that happened in your life?! Very exciting and fascinating, filled with tragic and beautiful stories about life and love, sincere friendship or desperate betrayal. You carry these stories in your memory and heart, you are fascinated by them and enchant others, they touch the soul of even those who are not the most sensitive and vulnerable, they make loved ones and relatives worry about you, and intellectuals are captivated by the complexity of the interweaving, intricacy and your honor and courage. If this is still all about you, read on. If, however, you have the desire and some opportunity to translate your story into some publication, even if only you read it, that’s good, if others see it, that’s just great . The main thing is not to live constantly in this novel, as is often the case with those who love to read. After all, strangers are carried away and immersed in your story, but you are already deeply involved in it and are connected for life. That is why it is important to make a certain story, even the most important and heartbreaking, a separate volume of your life and put it on the shelf of memories, and not store it on your desktop or always have it with you! In this way, you can preserve your mental and physical health without carrying the burden of memories, even very pleasant ones, like the current situation of your current life. I think it’s worth defining some “markers” that the past has truly become the past. This will be a series of signs of distinctive behavior and small recommendations. You do not remember this person every day when you wake up and fall asleep. No matter how dear a person from the past is to you, you should think about yourself and your needs much more often and live your own life with pleasure. You do not look for someone like him (her) in passers-by. When you really want to prolong the pleasure of special memories, it’s so nice to see a person who is very similar (although it may, on the contrary, be unbearably painful) to the one who once occupied all your thoughts and feelings. The maximum you can do is smile and say to yourself: “It was, it was...” and move on, rather than standing around looking intently in search of contact or accidental touch. People can just be somewhat similar. You don’t visit “common” places. Every day, your trip to work, school, or vacation can take the same path where you once were together. Try, at least for the first time, to change the route, but do not exclude it (this is fundamentally important!). Take the risk sometimes to walk in the same place and listen to yourself what you feel, try to separate your own feelings “here and now” from shared experiences from the past. You do not look at his (her) photos regularly. It is worth not allowing the information to be imprinted in your memory for a while, because you may get the feeling that the person is still in our lives. It’s too good, looking at the photographs, we studied the features of our beloved face. Give your memory a chance to rest and your heart to dull the memories. So that later, looking at the photographs, you can simply smile. You do not track a person’s life on social networks. To me, this is a modern disease that penetrates the human brain and consciousness through social networks. This can resemble an obsession and does not bring anything good or pleasant, creating the illusion of knowledge of the life of another and controllability of events. I have written more than one article about this. You don’t think about a situation that happened in the past every day or several times a day. This tragedy or, on the contrary, a sweet moment can occupy your entire being, seemingly penetrating into the very depths of the subconscious. You can feel one with your memories.
