I think every adult dreams of his children growing up happy. And for this, many adults are ready to do something. Just how exactly can you and I make sure that the life of a child about whom we actually know little (I mean about his physical and mental characteristics) is happy. Life in the process of ontogenesis, scientifically speaking. Yes, you can shower them with gifts, carry them in your arms as a child, and the child may be happy, but there is a possibility that such a child will face numerous disappointments in adulthood. So, I think there are many questions here that most likely do not have a clear answer. But to which, in my opinion, it is worth looking for an answer. In this article I want to present my version. I have children, during my life I have done and not done a lot of things for them and not only, including things that I can’t be particularly proud of. And at the moment, my thoughts about education are as follows. Yes, I already know many theories and examples of a happy life. And I can tell my children and other people a lot about them. But I think that what can really be passed on to another generation so that it is happy is only the feeling of one’s own happiness. It is very easy to talk about how someone else can be happy. But to do this yourself in practice, this is an operation with an asterisk, a real challenge. When is a person happy? When his various needs are mostly satisfied. In different areas of life. And in work, leisure, personal life, warmth, intimacy, self-realization and so on. And in our own lives, we can only do this ourselves, no one else. This is also true in the opposite direction, we cannot make someone happy. It is possible to help, yes, to do it, no. But we can do it ourselves. It’s a matter of “small things”, just listen, be aware of your feelings, desires, needs, thoughts, fantasies. Be able to communicate with others, negotiate correctly, defend your boundaries, successfully overcome your crises, periodically leave your comfort zone, etc. In fact, this is not an easy task, but it is quite doable. Tested in my own life, in the lives of my clients, friends, acquaintances. And it is this feeling of happiness, this feeling in body and soul that we can pass on to our children. We can convey the fire of our happy eyes, glowing with joy, our free, joyful thoughts, desires, fantasies. So, to summarize, if you want your children to have a chance of a happy life, be sure to become happy yourself and tell them about this feeling, show them what a happy person actually looks like and feels like. Happiness to you and your children, dear readers!
