There is such a stable expression “faced with a choice.” An image appears of a person standing in front of a door or like a hero at a crossroads. And a lot depends on his decision - even life. Fear of taking the wrong step, unknown consequences...What is so terrible behind the choice? Acceptance of responsibility. Not “somehow it happened, I don’t know how” - but “I chose.” Any choice has its consequences. We know (assume) some of them and make a choice based on this knowledge. About some we have no idea. Thus, choice is both certainty and uncertainty. One of the components of choice is a small death. First of all, unchosen opportunities and options. What will help you become more aware of the choice? 1) Inaction is also a choice, with its consequences and absolutely the same responsibility. Those. I need to be aware that I am choosing not to choose now.2) My responsibility for the choice means that I deal with all its consequences (both “positive” and “negative”).3) However, not all consequences can be calculated. I will never even know about some, some will be delayed. I am dealing with that part of reality that I am able to see and evaluate at the moment.4) My choice can directly affect other people, then I determine for myself the level of responsibility to me. them.5) There is a “choice without choice.” I seem to be delaying the moment of decision, but if I honestly ask myself: can I not do this - it will become clear that there is already a decision, I just don’t voice it or don’t admit it? yourself.6) Sometimes there is an illusion of choice - it seems that it is I who decide how events will develop further, but objectively the consequences do not depend on this.7) There are, as a rule, more than one or more than two options. Choice does not always mean “pan. or disappeared.” PS Buridanov’s donkey (book) – about an extremely indecisive person, hesitating in the choice between two equivalent desires, two equivalent decisions.
