In the inhumane 19th century, naturalists conducted such an experiment - they boiled a frog alive. Since the frog has the ability to jump quite high, if you take a frog and throw it into a large pot of boiling water, it will just jump out of it immediately. But if you put a frog in a pan filled with water that is at room temperature, it will stay there. Frogs like water. Then, if you turn your stove on very low heat, it can sit there motionless, not really noticing the fact that the water is getting warmer and warmer and the frog, not noticing the deadly changes, is calmly boiling alive, despite all its God-given ability to save itself. This is all very metaphorical. Man is an amazing creature and can get used to anything. And this is not always good for him, and in some cases it is harmful. In stressful situations, a person always turns on the adaptive forces of the body. If stress lasts a long time or happens frequently, these forces do not turn off and, in order to maintain life, begin to consume internal resources and reserves. Thus, adaptive mechanisms force the body's systems to work under strain. If nothing in a person’s life changes, then this state becomes habitual. Further more. What becomes familiar, we tend to perceive as the norm. Already under stress, we become even more susceptible to stress. It's like touching already sunburnt skin. Even mild irritants are perceived painfully and acutely. Everyone has experienced this themselves more than once. The skin is an external and clearly tangible organ. With the internal things are more complicated. It is more difficult to identify that something is wrong with the system while being inside it. The changing system itself can hardly notice its changes inside, since that which is capable of noticing itself is in the process of changes and deformations. And so, this lump of stress begins to slowly and gradually increase, and the slower it is, the less noticeable it is for a person. And this cannot last indefinitely; the moment will definitely come when the adaptive forces of the body will be exhausted. It's like with a rubber band, it can't stretch indefinitely and at some point it breaks. At some point the water temperature becomes really threatening and dangerous for the frog. She would like to jump out and save herself, but the protein in her muscles has already begun to break down and they don’t listen. What am I talking about? The example, of course, is not a pleasant one, but, I hope, it is sobering and vital. Unfortunately, I often see such people around me. The faces are all different, the one thing in common is fatigue of living and a lot of sores that either already exist or will come later (it’s just a matter of time). I mean that it is important to take care of yourself and not allow such an addiction to life in unnatural, stressful conditions . Even if you seem to feel normal, check - is this really the norm or just a habit? Yes, our life does not happen in sterile conditions. We are constantly faced with stress and what matters is how we overcome it. There are many different techniques to help balance our condition. You can use them all. And yet, I love mine - kinesiology. Since it works quite softly and quickly (and enough material has already been written about this). There are some simple self-help exercises that can help relieve stress. You can use them. You can also, for preventive purposes, make a list of any significant, painful or stressful situations that have ever happened and, perhaps, were not traumatic for you, but created strong tension in your life and soul. These may be situations that you cannot forget about, or that you do not want to remember. Then, during the session, you can choose from the list the highest priority topic to work on, or maybe several, and remove the negative consequences of these stresses from the body, psyche and consciousness quite quickly and!
