Stress and its types. Stress Relief Techniques. Although the word stress sounds in our lives literally at every step, the content that is put into this concept at the everyday level often diverges from the scientific concept of stress as a universal reaction of the body. Usually, when people talk about stress, they mean significant, extraordinary events that disrupt the usual routine and the natural course of life. Small but frequently recurring stressful events make a much greater contribution. We get so used to them that we don’t even realize it, but on a subconscious level the body continues to perceive them and react accordingly. And the main thing is that these unnoticed signals tend to accumulate. First of all, this applies to the stress of everyday life. After all, our interaction with the world begins with a collision with the environment, space and time. So: 1. Spatial stress. It arises in a person as a result of technological progress providing him with the ability to move in space, covering long distances at high speed. But our subconscious, instinctive stereotypes of interaction with space are still tuned to walking on the earth's surface, with its natural limitations.2. Temporary stress. This refers to the unnaturally accelerated rhythm and pace of life. As a result of this, the course of our internal, biological clock also changes. All stress affects them unidirectionally, causing them to accelerate. And then time begins to flow faster for the body with all the ensuing consequences.3. Living stress. These are, firstly, apartment buildings, which themselves are a source of hidden stress associated with limited space. This hidden stress is further aggravated by lifting off the ground in multi-story buildings. Being above the ground at a height greater than the crowns of trees (3-4th floor) is perceived by our subconscious as something unnatural. Thirdly, “visual pollution” of the environment around us is also added. We are surrounded entirely by an artificial environment. Add here “noise pollution” and “vibration”, as well as “thermal”, “electromagnetic” and “chemical”. All of these stressors cause what is called sensory-environmental fatigue, depleting our ability to withstand stress.4. Food stress. We stock up on extra calories every day, storing them in reserve, consuming unnatural chemical ingredients (preservatives, dyes, traces of fertilizers and pesticides), and unreasonably large amounts of sugar.5. Information stress. Information pollution of the living environment. Think about how much unnecessary information you absorb in a day. Add here the media, advertising, other people's telephone conversations, street noise.6. Communication stress (microsocial), caused by excessive, excessive, forced communication.7. Social stress. It is impossible to live in society and be free from society. A person is not free from the problems that society is experiencing.8. Psychological stress (intrapersonal, interpersonal, family, professional). The conclusion that we must draw for ourselves is that we must fight stress in order to prevent a nervous breakdown and serious illnesses. Bodily symptoms of stress are surges in blood pressure, palpitations, pain in the neck and head, heart, abdomen, back, difficulty swallowing, lump in throat, visual impairment, hot flashes (chills), bowel movements, insomnia, drowsiness, sexual problems. Psychological symptoms of stress - restlessness, anxiety, depression, irritability, absent-mindedness, decreased concentration attention, disorganization. If you notice at least one of the listed signs, it’s time to intervene in your own life - think calmly, discuss the situation (with a loved one or a specialist psychologist), identify and eliminate the causes of psychophysical overstrain. Ways to combat.
