Why do thoughts and thoughts visit a person under the cover of night, destroying the opportunity to fall into a sound sleep? Lying in bed, thoughts and experiences roll in like a wave that cannot be stopped? Why does internal nighttime conversation turn off thinking? For what reason are people willing to waste hours of sleep, realizing the damage they inflict on themselves? Fatigue, irritation, anger are bad companions in life. Insomnia is driven by internal demons - Rescuer, Persecutor, Victim. At the same time, the replay of the situation occurs not with specific individuals, but in the depths of thoughts, that is, with oneself. The culprit of the unfolding internal drama is an individual who was not told what he wanted, as a result of which the repetition of silent, unspoken words within oneself begins. Throughout the day, a person collects certain emotions (brands) that feed “parasitic thoughts.” In a warm bed, under the covers, a person combines them together and begins to conduct a mental conversation, awakening hatred, anger, and aggression. However, the collected emotions are not expressed to the person for whom they were intended, leaving the owner without a “prize”. In fact, the night time is devoted to being awake, talking to oneself, as a result, a somewhat conscious conclusion occurs: “I did what I had to do,” because : “I spent a lot of time on this.” Therefore, in reality, I will not express what I want. There is a huge risk that words will lose value, significance and, with the loss of relevance, will forever rest in the depths of themselves. What further aggravates the situation is that a person may disappear (get sick, quit, die, etc.) and the chance to express what has accumulated disappears. Stephen B. Karpman calls self-interviewing “Night Rackets.” In his book “Life Free from Games” he writes: “Why - rackets? Because they come at night to take what belongs to them. Someone must pay for your grievances and anger! And until you collect everything completely, they will remind you of your duty. And the price you pay for this is your sleep.” Emotions that emerge at night act as a Rescuer, trying to protect from offenders. Karpman identifies three nightly rackets: Racket Anger; Racket Good Samaritan; Racket Sufferer. Thanks to rackets, there is a constant scrolling of an unpleasant, intrusive, annoying situation that gives no peace. This is the exhausting purpose of Night Rackets.».
