From the author: How a psychologist can sell his services: “Business cards, website and contacts.” At the beginning of my practice more than five years ago, working with one or two clients a week, I began to understand that something needed to be done to attract clients. Then I did not have certain opportunities and experience in selling my services, but I was just me, working as a psychiatrist, and then as a psychotherapist in a psychiatric hospital. What to do? For effective work, one of the main ones I identified for myself were three points in my work: 1. Business cards;2. Website;3. Contacts. Business cards. No matter how I feel about them, they work. Not bright, not catchy, but eye-catching. With a minimum amount of information: name, specialization, telephone numbers, E-mail, and website, on the other hand, not much and you can briefly indicate the problems with which you are working. Because a business card is information about you, which can be stored for years. It can be placed in documents on a shelf, in an old wallet, or in any other place. And get it when you need it. Return. Over the past three months, 6 clients have contacted me using business cards. And I gave my business card to one of my clients 3 years ago. That is, it turns out that the business card has been waiting all this time to be used. Website. Information portal, with your own address (for example, like mine: www.psy-press.ru). You can indicate anything you want on the website. It can contain a minimum amount of information: about you, education, services, prices, contacts, photos. So it is with your thoughts, articles, tests and everything that can attract your future client posted on it. You can order the site to be made by specialists, or you can try to do it yourself. Nowadays there are quite a lot of portals offering to open your own website with them, creating it as a designer (for example, umi.ru). Why? And then, so that you can be found very quickly on the Internet, and after reading about you and your services, they can contact You and become your clients. If your name is on people’s lips, then where can they read about you? You can also indicate the website address on your business card, making it possible for their owners to read more about you. Contacts.Can you ask? What contacts will we be talking about? Well, certainly not from the phone book of your mobile))) Contacts with specialists. Enter into partnerships with people who can really send potential clients to you. First of all, these are doctors of narrow specialties. Any specialist can send a potential client to you. Cardiologist, neurologist, therapist and others. Enter into partnerships with them, give them business cards, discuss what problems they can send clients to you with. Also negotiate a partnership remuneration: a one-time large percentage of income (no more than 20%), or a small one from each meeting of a client attracted by a specialist (5-10%). At the end of each month, be sure to thank your partners for successful cooperation. In conclusion, I will say that with business cards, a small website, and partnerships with two or three specialists, you can build your own small private practice in working with clients.
