From the author: Time flies! Especially when there is a lot to do. And how often do we complain that there are only 24 hours in a day? Some people dream of giving up sleep in order to have time to do more. But is this always correct? Are there time wasters in our schedule? Let's look at 9 steps on the path to self-efficacy. Time flies by! Especially when there is a lot to do. And how often do we complain that there are only 24 hours in a day? Some people dream of giving up sleep in order to have time to do more. But is this always correct? Are there time wasters in our schedule? Let's look at 9 steps on the path to self-efficacy. First step: Before you fight something, you need to study it inside and out. Therefore, before describing our effectiveness, let's figure out what happens in our lives every day. Experts recommend keeping a small notebook to write down in detail “what” and “how much” time you spend during the day. Of course, the work is a little painstaking, but this way you can understand for yourself where there is ineffective use of time resources. Second step: Write a plan for the day. I recommend doing this in the evening, preferably before bed. While you sleep, the structure of the day will be processed by your brain, and in the morning you can immediately be focused and productive. Write your plan in descending order of priorities. The most difficult and voluminous parts are best done in the morning. The same applies to urgent tasks. Once you have completed the task, mark it in your notebook. In the evening you will be proud of yourself when you see the list of completed tasks. The main thing here is not to overdo it. Make a plan that you can actually implement. Don't frighten your mind with impossible tasks, otherwise even the simplest tasks will seem overwhelming. If you didn’t have time to do something, then leave it for the next day. Third step: Get an electronic organizer, install a special program that will help you keep track of several events at once. This way you won’t miss an important call, contact the right people on time, hold a meeting, etc. Fourth step: Inspect your workplace. The fewer things there are on it, the better your brain will work on the task. The thing is that small objects can greatly distract us, especially when there is resistance to work. Therefore, it is better to put everything that you do not have to use for a long time in a drawer. Leave only the most important and necessary things on the table. Step Five: A computer can help you do important things. Create a Today folder on your desktop. Save several files there. For example, these could be files with urgent tasks and all the documents necessary for this. There may also be folders with books, articles, pictures, etc. that you may need during the day. And in order not to search for them all over your computer, prepare everything you need in advance in the “Today” folder. When you get used to using it, you will immediately throw the necessary documents into this folder. Sixth step. The classic way to solve any complex task, to complete the biggest task, is to break them down into small steps. The simpler and clearer these actions are, the faster you will complete the task. It will take no more than five minutes to think about and break down the task into parts. Seventh step: The ability to refuse is often a necessity. At work, your colleagues may distract you with their requests, and some of them can cope quite well without your help. Try to learn how to “filter out” requests that will not help you in any way. The ability to say “no” in time will help you cope with current affairs faster. And don't be afraid to refuse. Those who really need your help will be patient and wait until you are free. Others will find help in other colleagues or show independence. Eighth step. If during the day you have 5-10 minutes in which you cannot do global affairs, then you can easily devote this time to small matters:
