Quite often there are requests: how to motivate a man to earn more, live together, move out of his mother ☺, give gifts and courtship, etc. But this article, not only for girls, but also for men, I’m sure many want to be strong, successful and attractive to the opposite sex! And so, a little historical background: It’s no secret that women and men react differently to stress and behave completely differently. This historically different behavior is due to different amounts of hormones produced: in women, under stress, they produce mainly cortisol - this is necessary so that we remain in the cave and protect the offspring. In men, along with cortisol, adrenaline is needed so that he runs out of the cave to meet enemies, protects the offspring, and also gets his mammoth. Once he has managed to defend himself and get the mammoth, the amount of testosterone in men increases and dopamine is produced , such a bonus for success! In current realities, a man often “harvests his mammoth” at the computer and without fighting with anyone, there is nowhere for the necessary hormones to be produced and you can often hear in consultations a request like “how to become courageous” or “my man is lying on couch and doesn’t want anything.” So, where can we get that notorious masculinity? We actively support all sports hobbies: - it’s very cool if the sport is a team sport (where you can win and lose, compare yourself with others); - strength sports (barbells there, lift dumbbells, compare with a friend who can do more); - all martial arts (boxing, taekwondo... this is where the freedom for testosterone production is). All extreme sports are also great for the production of hormones: - skydiving; - rock climbing; - auto/motorcycle sports. Of course, I understand that we girls are very scared for our men, but don’t cut masculinity at the root with phrases like: “Valera, why do you need a gun, it’s dangerous!” or “Zhenya, they’ll beat your whole head off in boxing, stay at home, I knitted you new socks!” Please believe in their ability to be independent and courageous, in their ability to compete and win! Your task is to praise and offer options! What else contributes to the formation of masculinity: - goals, set and achieve; - planning is an important component, when not in a “pool with your head”, but with a calculation of possible risks; - responsibility, if the woman herself and to kill a mammoth and feed the mammoths, then there’s no point in trying, right?; - posture and gestures, it’s difficult to be successful and productive if you’re always looking at the floor and your shoulders are down. Remember some successful man, how he walks, stands, how he speaks? Help a man feel successful, strong and courageous, responsible and a decision maker! Confidence in yourself and your abilities increases your standard of living!
