From the author: We will talk about how a person can “dissolve” in emotional dependence on someone or something. Have you noticed that you dissolve in someone / something? -That? In a relationship, partner, child, job (business), sports, hobby, etc.? So that the whole world ceases to exist for you. What is the world like? You are losing the most important person in your life - YOURSELF! Has this ever happened? Probably yes. And more than once... It’s hard to admit: “I (again) went (went) headlong into this. Horror!” Why horror? It's simple. Forgetting about yourself, a person becomes uninteresting. It's boring and uncomfortable with him. After all, in fact it doesn’t exist! He is a part of someone/something. And when this someone (something) disappears, emptiness sets in. Although no, I’m lying. It comes with pain. There is also the need to work on yourself. And this is not always pleasant... Do you want to argue? You think: “Since I give myself in the name of (...), then I will be rewarded! I get more by dissolving in (...)!” Well, well. If you want to play this game of expectations, dependencies and claims (reproaches), it’s your right. .Only for any choice you will have to pay one day. And I am sure: the price to pay for finding the meaning of life not in oneself, but in one area will be tragic. As the saying goes: “Ignorance of the laws is no excuse from responsibility.” If you insist: “It’s more convenient for me,” then let it be your way. .But remember the common truth: “Do not make yourself an idol!” Think about it: “What happens if I lose my partner/job/child (otherwise) that has become the meaning of my life? Isn’t it BETTER TO HAVE SEVERAL MEANINGS instead of just one?” Better, isn't it?...After all, a person is interesting to others only when he is interesting to himself. When he is a person. And he realizes himself in different areas. When he LOVES HIMSELF and puts his desires above all else. And then - a partner / job / children, etc.. You say: “This is selfishness”? No, this is healthy SELF-LOVE. After all, everyone comes into the world with their own purpose and mission. This means that you should listen, first of all, to yourself. Then you will have happiness and peace on Earth :). Do you agree? Share your opinion in the comments and likes .. Sincerely yours, psychologist Svetlana Lebedeva.
