How is our emotional state and vitamin and mineral deficiencies connected? There are conditions when our mood and emotional manifestations do not depend on the psyche and psychological problems, but are caused by various deficiencies. Such conditions include: bad mood, chronic fatigue, depression, weakness, lethargy , apathy, headaches, decreased attention, insomnia, mood swings, agitation. How vitamin and mineral deficiencies affect our condition: Iron - weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, dizziness, numbness may occur. Vitamin D - bad mood, mood swings, decline strength, decreased visual acuity, increased sweating, frequent colds and ARVI. Vitamin B12 - increased fatigue, anemia, insomnia, decreased appetite, upset stomach, numbness of fingers and muscle pain. Folic acid - fatigue, irritability, depression, weakness, apathy, lethargy , impaired cognitive function. Group B vitamins - increased fatigue, irritability, insomnia. Magnesium - weakness, loss of strength, headaches, increased anxiety, mood swings, heart rhythm disturbances. Vitamin C - weakness, chronic fatigue, emotional instability. I just recently came to track the levels of vitamins and minerals. I personally felt the impact of vitamin B12 and D deficiency and magnesium deficiency. I had weakness, lack of strength. I believed that this was due to my workload (work, various advanced training, courses), fatigue. By chance, an endocrinologist and a therapist suggested that I check vitamin D and B12 (to identify hidden anemia, because I did not have obvious anemia according to iron tests. I was diagnosed with deficiencies in these vitamins, although I had a normal, balanced diet. Now I regularly take vitamin D, I try to check vitamin B12, which regulate our emotional state and strength. If you feel reduced. mood, fatigue, tiredness and other conditions listed above, then pay attention to the level of vitamins and minerals, consult a doctor. Perhaps this will be enough to improve your emotional state.❓Have you checked the level of vitamins and minerals, whether you have any deficiencies identified ?
