From the author: My thoughts on criticism in the “footsteps” of consultations. The full article was published on my website: I very much agree with the opinion of Miguel Ruiz: “Don’t take anything personally. Everything people say or do is a projection of their own reality. If you develop immunity to other people's views and opinions, you will avoid needless suffering." What is criticism? This is, first of all, the opinion of a specific person, addressed to someone and expressing dissatisfaction. In other words, the critic speaks first of all about himself, reports what causes him concern, what is significant to him, how he perceives us and the world around him. He shares HIS picture of the world, addressing it to us. In essence, he ASKS for help, says that he feels bad when such and such happens. But he expresses his request not through the form of his desire or request, but through reproach and critical statements. Therefore, it is important to treat criticism addressed to you as INFORMATION about the critic! And if we want to help him cope with his negative experiences, we can ask him around and look for answers to approximately the following questions: “What would you like me to do? What exactly do you not like and why? Why were there such expectations?
