The previous article discussed some of the causes of low self-esteem. In this article we will look at the impact low self-esteem has on a person. Low self-esteem can have serious negative consequences for a person. Firstly, it can lead to a lack of self-confidence and limited opportunities. A person with low self-esteem may not believe in his or her abilities and may not dare take on new tasks or risky actions. This can lead to missed opportunities for personal and professional growth. Low self-esteem can also affect a person's emotional state. He may experience constant stress, anxiety and depression due to a negative attitude towards himself. A person may constantly doubt their abilities and put themselves in a negative light, which leads to feelings of helplessness and despair. Low self-esteem can also affect relationships with other people. A person with low self-esteem may have difficulty establishing and maintaining healthy and harmonious relationships.
