We live in a constantly changing world, the elements of this world form a social context, which influences 80% of our choices in obtaining information and making decisions. Now we are in a flexible transition from “VUCA-world” (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity: instability, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) into “BANI-world” (brittle, anxious, nonlinear, incomprehensible: fragile, anxious, non-linear, incomprehensible). Characterize the social context. or the environment is very important for understanding ourselves and finding solutions to current situations. What should we do? Just watch and go with the flow, accepting the consequences? Or still learn to manage the social context and be a “fish out of water” in the world of BANI. What is the difficulty? As you know, going “back to school/to work” has become even more difficult. Customers have to deal with this situation much more than before, which has become the new “norm”. The new reality has introduced new types of behaviors and environmental pressures into the world, which may or may not have an impact on the context. Social context is the result of people's behavior in a specific situation. You notice that people behave in accordance with their values, beliefs, storylines (red and green) and their (in)ability to cope with stress. Researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology collected data on communication in teams for 7 years ( both formal and informal, written and oral) and concluded that 35% of team productivity is based on informal communication. In today's environment, the negative consequences of the fact that most teams have not found anything to replace conversations in the lobby or next to the coffee machine are becoming increasingly clear. We can see a growing number of clients describing what can be called “Zoom fatigue”: longer work days, more meetings more, sometimes even without the opportunity to go to the toilet. The most common comment I hear is that “we don't have enough informal communication” - it seems like we have every type of meeting scheduled other than the old fashioned way of walking into a colleague's office and discussing an issue, arguing, finding a solution. We no longer even dare to interrupt our colleagues, as we used to do. Onboarding new employees is not only difficult, but also turns into a nightmare when the task is to fully engage them in work and ensure their effective growth. What is the benefit of 4-D Systems, a technology for developing teams and leaders What does the ability to manage the social context provide? 4-D Systems lays out into simple components perceived as complexity, the natural course of events. Very briefly: let's look at how to adapt to the BANI world for business and people through 4-D Systems How to develop and take into account: fragility - requires us to be powerful and resilient In communications, take into account the innate preferences of the individual and direct the focus attention to the needs of others and universal human values, meta skills. We are here to serve other people, family, and our religious and spiritual values. Behavior: Support others for their happiness and prosperity. Success without harming others. How to train: develop the cultivating dimension through expressing sincere gratitude and finding common interests anxiety - you need to be empathic and aware This is not only about allowing yourself to experience the five main groups of emotions, but learning to manage your emotions and the emotions of other people. Our brain stores in memory the multi-million-year history of human development, and it is important now to perceive the alarm signal as help. There is no need to avoid this emotion, but rather pay attention to it and listen carefully, find a rational grain and, if possible, take steps. Learn to react and listen to yourself in a completely new way. Focus on teamwork and relationship building, agreement building and context creation.
