Your personal MountainMajestic, tall, alluring... Here the peak goes with its tip into the sky, and at the foot we see how the mountain is powerfully rooted in its mother earth. You can spend hours enjoying, looking at and studying the base, torso and top, and learning the life and secrets of the great mountain. This is usually how we imagine a mountain. In this article we will talk about another mountain - just as powerful, huge, but hidden from the gaze of the admiring layman. There are such mountains. You seem to know that you are on a stone ridge, but you look around - there is a forest all around. And only forest bald spots with a rocky landscape confirm - yes, I’m definitely on a mountain. Such mountains are found in large numbers in the Middle Urals - in our native land. Ancient, covered and covered with earth and covered with forest and vegetation. These same mountains can be compared with our knowledge about ourselves, our own abilities, about forces, sometimes hidden from ourselves. Personal characteristics and qualities can be imagined in the form of a mountain. A little imagination and creativity and... Imagine, right now, your knowledge about yourself in the form of a mountain, of which only the top is visible, and the skeleton is hidden by the earth, bushes, forest and other various greenery. Now you are this mountain. A group of tourists with interest approaches the foot and begins to climb up. -Oh, how cool! – one says with delight. -Yes, we’ve seen cooler things! – the other one answers dismissively. -What are you talking about, I don’t understand. The trail is wide and comfortable. If only all the mountains were so gentle, it would be so easy and interesting to walk along it! – the third discusses excitedly. - And how diverse and unusual it is. Ant grass, birch trees, pine trees. I like these hills... - the fourth tourist joyfully says out loud. - There is nothing to admire here, everything here is standard, ordinary and primitive. The vegetation is so-so. It's even boring. – we hear the opinion of a disappointed tourist. - Here, here... When we approached the foot, the place also seemed amazing and unusual to me. And now, having been on the mountain, it’s just disappointment and that’s all. You can't even see the stone behind the grass. I want to quickly get away from this despondency and dullness. – a fellow tourist echoes irritably. - No, friends, I don’t agree. When they first approached, there was no trace of any zest. But look around now! Mystery and grandeur, strength and beauty reign everywhere here! - the seventh says enthusiastically. - I agree. I don’t want to leave here, it’s like home – easy and comfortable. – another tourist argues calmly. This is how other people may perceive you. True, you are suitable for some, but for others it is difficult or uninteresting to be with you, and still others do not like souls next to you. The tourists in this article listened to themselves, and judged you. Each of them, interacting with you, tried on what they saw, felt, analyzed. And not everyone saw that behind the thickness of the earth, behind various vegetation, there were nuggets and stones, minerals and jewelry. Each of them took care of themselves by expressing an opinion about you. It’s up to you to decide which of them is right. Indeed, you can accumulate knowledge about yourself with the help of other people’s judgments and opinions, or you can look at your own mountain. It can be later, someday, or right now. And if you are ready to look into your depths, then the path of self-knowledge is open. The only truth about you is your own research. Other people may be mistaken in attributing certain qualities and properties to you. Only you and no one else can look into the depths, into the very essence of yourself. Try to answer your questions. What is your mountain? What are its dimensions and landscape? What are you showing to the world? What is the support, the skeleton, the foundation? What does your subsoil contain? Are all the fossils known to you? How much do you use what you have already discovered? How deep did you manage to look? Did you make a lot of finds? Quantity in certain situations is not particularly important; sometimes you need to pay attention to quality and composition. The main thing is that the process of self-exploration has begun. And I’ll tell you for sure, many minerals and valuable resources are still waiting for the hour of their discovery! And gold-bearing veins, and diamond origins, and malachite.
